Honestly a great handle with a great grip and adds just the right ergo to my Nikon ZF cage when shooting video. Flipping from left to right is a bit of a process, but once you sort out your workflow I doubt you'll be swapping often. I was hoping this would solve my issue with the ZF screen flipping out sideways, but unfortunately with this mounted on the left side the screen is still in the way. However with a swap to the right side and a bit of a rework in how I'm use to holding the camera this handle really provides a lot of comfort and a great grip. Having the weight offset from the handle axis really does help a lot with fatigue and wrist strain.Overall a good handle worthy of adding to your rig

This really solved an issue for me. My previous side handle was big, comfortable, ergonomic and made shooting handheld much easier. The only problem was my camera's I/O ports are mostly on the left side where my handle was mounted. This left very little space to open and use the built-in monitor.This new side handle may bit a bit smaller than my previous one... but it's just as ergonomic and comfortable. Best of all theounting bracket is angled. It allows me to have more clearance from the ports. Now the screen comes out unobstructed by the wires and connections.For reference I shoot with the Canon R8. So yeah this was a great addition to my rig. I did think there was a problem with the screws. My old handles mounting screws had holes in them so you could put the included Allen wrench through and tighten really good. The screws on this are solid. BUT, what they did was even cleaner. The heads of the screws have hexagonal indents. So you use the Allen wrench by putting it in and screwing from the center axis rather than applying torque from the side.

I added this handle to my work-in-progress cell phone video rig and think it’s been a great fit so far. I’m using a single handle setup with a light mounted on the opposite side, although I may add another one of these handles later and move the light to the top of the cage. Build quality and machining are really excellent, there’s no sharp edges and the fit and finish and tolerances all look great. It’s comfortable to hold, at least for the cell phone setup, but also might work for compact cameras. There really isn’t much I’d change about it, it’s pleasant to use and the size is just right for my phone video purposes.

This is a good handle, it feels nice in the hand, very comfortable holding it. The design is good and I like the look of it. This one is a threaded system so it easily connects with my R50, and I love it. I switched it for the left side because I have a clamp one and it can only go on the right side of the cage. Even though I am right handed, I prefer to use my left hand in certain situations and this was one of them, so getting this one in which I can use my left hand is a blessing. Comfortable design + threaded = Solid handle for me.
