I bought the disks so that I could make compilations of my visits to cultural sites over the last 20 years. I had no problems with first disc I burnt. I use the DVD Architect software to compile the movie and burn. My rating is only based on a single attempt. Others seem to have problems with this product. Perhaps I will in future.

I have burned 70+ discs with only one or two failures. Value is great. Durability seems fine. However the quality of the writable white surface has much to be desired... it's very similar to using self adhesive printable disc cover stickers with the paper being a little to matte and cheap to the touch. Furthermore this last batch fails to load in tray less players (Xbox One) due to the writable top adding an unacceptable thickness to the disc. Will be going with another brand/type from now on to avoid this issue.

The issue with burning BD, DVD and even CD media goes back decades. Once burning starts, it can't be stopped. If the computer cannot keep up feeding data to the drive during the burn, that is it, you have created a coaster. When you create a "coaster", the problem is usually the media, the optical drive, or the computer itself. When buying cheap no-name media (no insult to the seller), you need to make some concessions to help guarantee a successful burn.1 - Burn at the slowest possible speed. This will help increase the odds for success, and well as increase the longevity of the data you are burning.2 - Close all other windows on your desktop. Let the burning application have the entire computer.3 - Walk away until the burn is done. Use the flashing I/O light on your optical drive to tell if the burn is still running.4 - Use common sense. If the first 3 discs you burn turn out to be coasters, its safe to assume the remaining 7 will be as well. Try something different like the suggestions above.I had 1 coaster from the set I bought here. I violated one of my own rules (#2), and the reburn was successful. I burn these discs at 2X, and with error correction enabled, the drive downshifts to 1X. Takes forever to burn 50GB, but at $2 a pop, not a lot of room to play around. I hope someone finds this helpful.

Good quality discs. Lovely blank white surface to write on. After making 5 coasters, I had to crossflash AND upgrade firmware in order to use them, but that's not their fault. I anticipated a hiccup or 5, though. These discs are great. My burner can only burn them at 2x, but that's fine by me for the price.

These are in fact RITEK disk's and have always worked and burned exceptionally well for me! I buned at Max speed with no coasters at a true 6X.As always Ritek's allow you to burn at max speed with zero errors , in as far back as I can remember.Good price although not cheap and the printable surface is perfect.
