- Der DL200 ist ein kompletter MQA-Decoder, der MQA-Musikdateien vollständig erweitert, um qualitativ hochwertige Rohquellen bereitzustellen. Bei dieser Wiedergabestufe hören Sie genau das, was der Künstler im Studio geschaffen hat. Das Front-End-Gerät muss für die Wiedergabe von MQA-Musikdateien keine Änderungen vornehmen. Nur die Größe einer CD-Datei zu genießen, aber mit einer hohen Spezifikation von 384kHz.

Das Teil klingt einfach wirklich gut. Für den Preis hätte man dem Gerät aber auch XLR-Buchsen spendieren können statt der simplen TRS. Die RCA-Buchsen sind sowieso ein Anachronismus der HiFi-Welt, die eigentlich ins Museum gehören.Die Fernbedienung funktioniert zwar, nur hat die Rezeptor-Diode einen derart kleinen Winkel, dass man genau von vorne auf den Punkt zielen muss, dass das Signal akzeptiert wird - das ist umständlich und ziemlich lästig.

This is a phenomenal DAC/AMP that does basically everything you could expect from a much more expensive device -- and does so with prowess. Sound is crisp, controlled, dynamic, harmonious, and wide. There is this unyielding thrust in the way the DL200 drives all my devices. It pairs masterfully with my Edifier MR4 through the balanced TRS outputs, which are virtually unheard of at this price point. Actually, I cannot recommend this pairing enough for a desktop setup -- the DL200 + the MR4, that is. It is just out of this world what you get by combining both devices, particularly considering the price.I also own the SMSL SU-1, which has (fairly) received raving reviews everywhere, and I have A/B-compared it to the DL200. I have also A/B-compared the DL200 via regular RCA and TRS outputs. To my ears, the SU-1 sounds grainy and tiny in comparison, cannot hold a candle to the DL200. There is also a good difference between the DL200 in RCA and TRS modes, the latter being significanly better. So, if you do buy the DL200, make sure to have active speakers with TRS inputs to make the most out of it.On the headphones front, the DL200's 4.4 jack is actually unbalanced. What that means here, however, unlike in other DACs where the unbalanced output is not as good as the balanced one, is that the 6.35 jack will function just as well as the 4.4. And function they do! The DL200 is able to imprint a full sound to my headphones that I cannot get from any of the other DACs I own, including my FiiO BTR7 with THX amplifiers. You end up having more possibilities of connection without needing to worry about differences in quality between the headphone jacks. I have a 6.35 to 3.5mm adapter tightly connected to the 6.35mm jack and that makes my life so much easier in switching between headphones.Note: where people refer to clicks/pops in sample rate changes between tracks (like from 48kHz to 192kHz) as a quality-control issue -- a 'quirk' -- affecting the DL200, please ignore. I must say such clicks/pops are not only something extremely minor, but are also common behaviour between virtually all of my other DACs. This is nothing that will affect your experience with the DL200 -- a purchase that I promise you won't regret.

Lo uso per pilotare una cuffia AKG K712 pro. Secondo me, sui suoni digitali, in purezza supera preamplificatori di fascia alta e altissima che costano 20 volte tanto. Ho collegato all'ingresso digitale coassiale un lettore Blu-ray e tramite bluetooth altre periferiche (principalmente un tablet) e con un piccolo monitor da 11" ho realizzato il mio centro HiFi da comodino.

Remote requires quite accurate pointing to dl200, distance is not problem. At least approx from 5 meters tested.Dl-200 itself works without any problems. Setting up was very easy process. Small minus is, that dimming of lcd could be more efficient. Even at lowest value, it is bit too bright (you can turn it complately off).I am using this as "preamp".

I was very sceptical about the reviews but what the heck, I gave it a go. Bought in the Black Friday Sales at a reasonable price. I wanted to test it out on a piece of classical music. Respighi's Festival of Rome final movement has several layers of orchestration with multiple instruments playing at the same time. What I was hoping for was sound stage and separation but it's a very demanding piece for a DAC. I was so happy and amazed. This magical box of tricks coped so well. The sound was so smooth, rounded but bulky. Plenty of excitement and detail as well. I will be keeping this DAC for now and looking forward to more extended playing.

Zuvor habe ich mit dem Hifiman Sundara meine Musik über den SoundblasterX G6 gehört. Der ausgegebene Sound des DL200 ist dagegen ein eine Offenbarung. Sehr klar und kraftvoll. Leider hatten die 2 Geräte die ich bei mir hatte eine Fehlfunktion. Beide DL200 starben nach einem ca. 1 stündigen Betrieb im Bluetooth. Dauf dem Display blinkte eine 200 und das Gerät reagierte auf keine Eingabe mehr. Der Betrieb über USB war jedoch auch über Stunden kein Problem.

SMSL doesn't disappoint. The sound is transparent and is indeed made of audio-grade components. Would def. buy again.

In terms of sound quality - I cannot complain - top quality. The issue I have is with power management. The device goes offline somehow and needs a full power reset when connected over usb-c. It disappears from device list on MacOS. Maybe a dedicated driver would solve the issue. I implemented a smart socket to be able to simply reset it. Not ideal but resolves the issue.

I have two dongle dacs, a qudelix 5k and an earfun ua100 (both getting a 5 star rating from me), but I wanted a desktop headphone dac amp too. I spent a good bit of time researching online, and came up with the smsl c200. It had a great price and some very positive independent reviews, but then I saw it was updated - the smsl dl200, with a newer display, an upgraded ess sabre chip which is only found in very expensive equipment, and a few other improvements. I thought I had hit the jackpot.I had it delivered at work, but I only had 5 minutes to test it out, so I attached my letshuoer s12 iems (5 star item again) and I was really impressed. I couldn't wait to plug it again at home, which I did, and got a 30 second teaser of great sound out of my sennheiser hd 6 mix over ears... then no sound, no control, just a display with a flashing 200.Bye bye dl200! Back you go! I'm not going to get it replaced now because it looks like I'm not the only one who got a bad potato here with the dl200. Seems to be more duds in the batch. I might try the c200 but I'm a little reluctant because smsl obviously has quality control issues. Great dac if it works, but my conclusion: Risky purchase

Top! Der SMSL DL200 ES9039Q2M DAC und Kopfhörerverstärker rockt! Klangqualität ist der Hammer, echt beeindruckend. Das Beste, die Treiber spielen super mit Nahimic Companion. Endlich volle Kontrolle über den Sound.
