I ordered these cake strips as I was having trouble doming my cakes. The cake strips were four in number and were perfect for making evenly baked cakes. Additionally, they come with two cake testers and a cute cupcake topper as a bonus which helped me to make sure my cakes looked decorative and were taken out at the right time.Sometimes, I would dampen my cake strips and then apply which helps to create a bit of moisture, helping the cake to rise. Overall, these are good quality cake strips, which help in perfecting my cakes. I hope this review helped you.

I was sceptical, and the very mixed reviews on all the different types of cake straps didn’t help. Suffice to say I was hopefully but wasn’t expecting much. This is a basic sponge (Victoria sandwich) and as you can see from the photos the cakes have come out almost completely flat! Usually they would have a dome but not this time. I’ll definitely be using these again. Just a note, I ended up giving them an extra 3 minutes on the usual cook time, will be interesting to see if it’s the same again next tim
