Easy set up at the moment it is running very well, early to say , the last one I had only lasted two years but was a lot cheaper . This one has a filter for the pump and is set up in a small wild life pond .

Got this for an upcoming bird bath, a friend says she loves to watch the birds and squirrels play in the water. Well, we don't have a bird bath, but we have a pool! Bright idea, put it in there! Was easy to put together, stick a water splitter, diverter(?) In in center, and put the bars on side.We kept looking at it, it was just slowly traveling around, and the water spray was so peaceful - at first. After about 30 minutes, it disappeared. I figured my.neighbor was in the bushes laughing, but we finally found it in the skimmer. Now its on a tether to the side. Still is relaxing to watch.There are about 8 different patterns for the water spray. Easy to change, 4 are just pressed on, and 4 more just twist on to another adapter. It's only about 7 inches across, so it sprays higher than it is wide.I think it's worth the price, even for a bird bath. It sprays water about 9 inches up, and didn't spray water out, even when under the overhang on the side. The bars keep it from getting too close to the side. Even if water is blown out, it stops spraying when out of water, so doesn't burn the pump up.There is a battery, but mine has only direct sun about 6 hours, and that six is through the mosquito mesh on the pool cover. It still worked till about an hour after dark, which would be 3.5 hours after losing direct sun.My wife wants to still get a bird bath and use this one, she says the spray will keep her from having to clean the water as much and the spray will attract the birds. The movement of the water keeps mosquitoes from laying eggs, which is a very good thing.If you look at a video of a bird bath with the spraying water, it just makes the bird bath seem more inviting.

This solar bird bath fountain works well. It was well packaged when it arrived. I found that the instructions were a bit lacking so here's what I learned. The straws attach to the sides of the fountain - to help the fountain not move around. For cleaning, the pump pops out, just give it a good pull and it'll release. The cover and mesh pad for the pump can then be removed to be cleaned.The fountain came with a charge - I know as it was a cloudy, overcast day when I set it up. Once I put it in my birdbath the light came on red and it started up right away. It comes with multiple fountain heads. I found that the first one I used, whereas had a great spray, I was losing more water than I wanted so I'm going to try some of the others. The fountain itself floated and moved around in my birdbath so I ended up placing a couple of rocks next to it to keep it in place. The fountain automatically turned off at night.Overall I'm happy with this purchase and look forward to watching my feathered friends enjoy it!My

Worked for one day then stopped (bright sunshine too) very disappointed thought that spending a bit more would buy me a decent fountain, sadly not the case
