Es reicht für Zwei!Spaß beiseite, man kann es vielleicht anders machen, aber besser geht es nicht. Top Qualität und für seinen Einsatzbereich bis zum Ende gedacht. Hervorragendes Industrieprodukt. Ich würde es als „verschwenderischen Minimalismus“ umschreiben. Der Grammjäger in euch wird sicherlich ein Loch in den Topfboden schneiden, damit das Wasser zum Kochen darin nicht so viel wiegt.

Soto made a masterpiece in Lightweight, compact, Muti function Pot-set insulating food and drinks keeping them hot in very cold climates. This is very special Pot set from Soto. If NASA was to take.a pot set to space it would be this one. It has 3 -different pots made of three different metal pots, Titanium, Alloy and stainless steel. The two smaller pots nest together to make an insulated mug that can be used on their own to insulate coffee tea or soup. The larger pot can be used for noodles and other foods with a insulated jacket with foil insulation inside to keep noodles or other foods hot for long period, the inslualted jacket is also the pot cover and a small 100 ml gas canister clips on top making this the most versatile state of the art multi fiction pot set on the market today that is the highest of quality.

Perfect for one or two people, could even use insulated cup only for small boiling pot and cup for one person. Lids work well and can still use pot handle with them fitted. Small gas cylinder clips into larger pot lid and mesh top will cover cylinder (or save space without a smaller cylinder and pack a larger cylinder elsewhere). I have paired it with the Soto windburner which fits inside. I find it better than any jetboil/msr setup I have had including jetboil stash. Can't think of anything else that it needs....

Auf meinen Wanderungen mache ich mir zum Frühstück einmal Wasser heiß, nämlich für das Müsli und meinen Kaffee auf einmal. Wenn ich dann mein Müsli aufgegessen hatte, war mein Kaffee längst wieder eiskalt und ich hasse nichts mehr als kalten Kaffee! Das hat jetzt mit dem Soto Kochset endlich ein Ende! Egal was zuerst gegessen oder getrunken wird, alles andere bleibt durch den Thermobecher oder die Isolierhülle noch warm.Intelligent auf einander abgestimmtes Set von Soto. Vom Gewicht her sicher nicht ultraleicht aber für die gebotenen Funktionalitäten nicht zu schwer.Würde ich in jedem Fall wieder kaufen.

+ Sehr guter Preis+ hervorragende Funktionalität- Vorsicht mit dem Griff, siehe untenDas SOTO Thermostack Combo ist ein wirklich super vielseitiger Begleiter für meine Bikepacking Touren. Wer etwas in der Materie steckt weiß, dass besonders hochwertige und innovative Ausrüstung Spaß macht - hierfür aber auch einiges an Geld liegen gelassen werden kann. Bei diesem Produkt stimmt aber einfach alles und man bekommt wirklich viel Funktionalität mit tollen Materialien (bspw. Titan) für gar nicht so viel Geld.Was besonders hervorsticht ist das enorm geringe Packmaß von maximal 13x10,5cm, das einem dennoch bis zu 1,5 Liter Volumen für Flüssigkeiten bietet. Hiermit können sich problemlos 1-2 Personen mit ausreichend Kaffee und bspw. Nudeln versorgen. Kleiner Tipp: wenn es der Kocher zulässt, kann dieser auch innerhalb der Gefäße transportiert werden.Daneben ist ein weiteres Merkmal das recht geringe Gewicht, was hochwertigen Materialen wie bspw. Titan zu verdanken ist. Das Gesamtgewicht beträgt nachgemessen 313g. Kann aber auch deutlich reduziert werden, wenn nicht alle Bestandteile des Sets mit auf Tour müssen.Beeindruckend ist vor allem die Funktionalität. Das Kochset besteht aus 3 Gefäßen, die alle ineinander gestapelt werden können. Diese lassen sich einzeln verwenden, oder zwei der Becher mit dem Verbindungsstück zu einem doppelwandigen Gefäß kombinieren. So bleiben Speisen und Getränke auch an kalten Tagen länger warm. Man kann um weiteres Gewicht oder Packmaß zu sparen auch nur 1 oder 2 Becher mitnehmen. Das ist egal welches Setup man nun unterwegs dabei hat, alles lässt sich kompakt zusammenbauen, ohne, dass irgendetwas klappert.Vorsicht ist bei dem Griff geboten. Der besteht aus teilweise recht scharfkantigem Aluminium. Das neigt zu Kratzern an den Bechern. Hier nutze ich einfach den Mini Topfgreifer von GSI. Der ist aus Gummi und funktioniert genauso.

Der große Pott ist gerade richtig für eine große Dosis Kaffee. Die Hülle schützt hervorragend vor der heißen Flüssigkeit und hält den Inhalt gleichzeitig wunderbar warm oder kalt, vor allem wenn man den Deckel mit Trinköffnung nutzt. Nur am Rand kann das Teil sehr heiß werden, wenn man das Metall mit den Lippen berührt. Lässt sich aber durch hochziehen des Stoffes verhindern. Bei dem kleinen Set ist das kein Thema. Auch da sehr gute Isolation durch die beiden ineinander gesteckten Becker mit Deckel. Man hat also drei Becher, das süße kleine Zängchen, das man für alle Becher zum vom Feuer nehmen nutzen kann. Ich liebe solch gut durchdachte Produkte.

Fanatastic, high quality, Japanese made, 8 piece cookset, total weight 6.4 oz (manufacturer specs.) The set includes a 2 piece double wall thermal cup that can be disassembled to use the components separately if desired. There are many options with this well thought out cook set and some of the components can be left home to further lighten weight. It might seem expensive but it includes 2 titanium pots and 1 small stainless steel mug and is cheeper than the similarly sized Vargo Bot and much more versatile. I am very impressed with Soto products in general as I also have the Soto Windmaster Stove and the Soto Helix coffee maker which I use in conjunction with this cook set. Unfortunately the Soto Helix does not fit in the Thermostack kit, but is easy to stow elsewhere as it can be compressed almost flat. A small fuel canister will fit in the larger pot without the rest of the kit, but fuel canisters are easy to stow elsewhere anyway. The instructions say not to use the lids (there are 2) when boiling water, although I have done it successfully, but make sure the stove is not full blast and the flames don't go up the side of the pot. This is a marvelous kit for backpackers either using the full kit or the partial kit to save weight. BTW, the thermal cup does work well and keeps coffee warm for a long time!
