Ein Verschleissteil

Ich hatte von Source das alte Stormventil und musste mich erstmal an die diese neue Variante gewöhnen, aber ich finde sie gut. Vorallem, dass es zum aufklicken ist macht die Sache noch besser. Geht nur darum, dass ich auch mal verlängern kann, wenn es sein muss.Ich find's gut.Bis dahin.Cheers.

Das alte Ventil ließ sich nicht mehr öffnen und der die das Gummi war rissig geworden. Ce la vie

Als Ersatz für meine source trinkblase bestellt. Das Mundstück in oliv war immer dicht. Bei dem bildet sich nach 10 Minuten sogar eine kleine Pfütze wenn ich denn Rucksack abstelle. Ärgerlich

Der Händler "ShopHere" hat ein Helix Valve geliefert, auf der Verpackung klebt ein Aufkleber mit Barcode auf dem steht "Storm Push-Pull Valve".Ich bin nicht zufrieden.NACHTRAG:Ich habe das "Storm Push-Pull Valve" in schwarz erneut bestellt, es wurde wieder das falsche geliefert.Amazon hat fertig.

Auch mach mehrwöchiger intensiver belastung noch 100% funktionsfähig. Tipp: Mundstück mit Schnurr am Schlauch befestigen.

As a user of Source Storm 'Non-Bite' Hydration Valves for many years I haven't used any other make or type bite valve since I found them, I have 'all' of my "Geigerrig" packs with 3 Liter bladders (Geigerrig calls their bladders "Hydration Engines") with Source's replacement insulated replacement tubes with their quick disconnect ends, I also have Source's UTA Rapid Refill Adapters in each pack, they make it possible to refill the engine from any outdoor water faucet or the kitchen sink 'Without Having To unzip anything or remove the Hydration Engine From The Pack, when it's full I simply switch the rapid refill with the Storm valve and I'm good to go. I use Geigerrig's because the Hydration Engines are 'pressurized' with a 'Blood Pressure Type Bulb' that fills the engine's back chamber with air through it's top end, then the bulb is held against the left shoulder strap with a Velcro fastened Geigerrig sleeve with their logo on the front, I purchased a second Velcro sleeve for each of the packs, this one holds the 'quick fill adapter' to the right strap, then the hose tube connects to it's water side (front) at the bottom with it's quick connect fitting, then the Source's Storm Push / Pull 'Non-Bite' valve works GREAT for me because I have full top / bottom plastic teeth which don't always operate a regular bite valve without them moving around some, so I pump up the engine with around twelve pumps, unlock the storm valve place it into my mouth & gently pull the valve open with my teeth and due to the pressurized air chamber I no longer have to suck the refreshing water into my mouth, it comes from the engine on it's own, when I've had enough I simply push the sliding valve against my teeth to shut it off, then lock the valve by turning outside ring clockwise one quarter turn then place the supplied plastic cover over the valve until next time. Another selling point by Geigerrig is when you have your best four legged buddy with you and is thirsty to, simply open the valve and squirt the water into your thirsty dogs mouth, then you both are refreshed. Source's Regular Bite Valve's are called Helix, they also lock by turning them a quarter turn. Needless to say I love the five or six Geigerrig / Source 'Storm Non-Bite' valve and all their attachments. I totally recommend both Source Tactical Storm bite-less valves, their insulated replacement tubes and their UTA Quick Fill Adapters 'and' all of Geigerrig's packs and Hydration Engines to everyone! (Since I started buying & using Geigerrig's products I think they have been bought out by Aqua-Mira, they make backpacking filters, & water purification products.) I also love Amazon & Prime.

Für den Aufstieg zum Kili genutzt - Trinken ist wesentlich einfacher als mit den Standardventilen (Wasser läuft fast von alleine, sehr hilfreich, wenn einem die Luft eh gerade ausgeht) und die Reinigung ist viel besser möglich, weil weniger "Schnickschnack" am Ventil ist.

Ottimo prodotto, non perde ed il beccuccio è ben coperto. Lo uso per escursioni di vario genere ed apprezzato anche durante il servizio militare. Consigliato

Can't use bite valves but this twist valve is just as good!

Ich besitze eine 3L Trinkblase von Source und habe leider das mitgelieferte Ventil verloren. Was kann man zu dem Ventil sagen? Es ermöglicht problemloses trinken, ohne irgendwie drauf rumbeißen zu müssen, man kann es blockieren, es tropft nicht und ist ziemlich robust.
