I've built a lot of model airplanes and have run out of shelf space for displaying them and cabinet space for storing them. So I hang them from the walls and ceiling of my work room. I learned the hard way that string digs into the foam that many of my planes are made of and causes significant damage. The wall of this tubing is thin enough that it buckles on contact with wing leading edges, etc of my models, so this tube provides a nondestructive alternative to string for suspending my models. Because it's hard to tie knots in this tubing, I've devised another way to connect two open ends of tubing. I hope soon to post photos showing my method. Meanwhile, this tubing has been a lifesaver for displaying my planes.

This tubing is good quality. It is quite soft, and so if that is what you want for your application then you can be confident with this product.I wanted to use it to run some small copper cable through holes in steel. It did the job insulation wise but was less sturdy than I hoped.It is more like sleeving than tube.
