Tips bent inward now they keep falling off the ring. I tried to pull the tip back out (straighten it) and it loosened the metal..now they're pretty much worthless for anything heavy duty. And just the opposite of that complaint, I find the tips are larger diameter than some other pairs I have make them only useful if the holes in the clips are about 1/16".EDIT: I bought another pair and they didn't last 24 hours. The pin snapped off and luckily didn't fly into my eye.

Works with ball joint circlips (up to 40mm diameter, perhaps a bit more). The tool does not attempt to pinch the skin - designed well.

Worked OK for part of the repair I was using it for but was too short to reach another cir-clip that I had to remove. Partially useful - but to service all combinations of these clips you would need a full combination set of these tools and you might use one or two of them a couple of times in a lifetime.
