I was traveling and left my previously purchased set of 3 lids at home so I ordered one to tide me over until I returned home. This lid looked like my others but the broccoli seed hulls did not wash out through the slots so sadly it didn’t perform the job I had purchased it to do.

These are great. They fit wide mouth Kilner jars perfectly. Easy to clean. Good price compared to alternatives.

Easy to drain water through holes. You’ll need a brush to clean all the little holes. Gasket is hard to install, it bunches up and comes loose. Photos and description say lids plural, only one is in an order, lime green. Says it’s dishwasher safe, maybe top rack, I cleaned it by hand washing.

I really like this sprouting lid. It’s hard plastic with two different strainer modes along with mounts to keep your mason jar tilted properly. I opted for plastic because I didn’t want any rust issues with metal. My first batch of alfalfa sprouts was a success!

This was a perfect fit for wide mouth Kilner Jar.There are two sized perforations in the lid that allow for a faster or slower water flow when straining.Plastic, so very easy to wash.Lost a star due to price.
