These are just so awesome. The concept is simple and so easy to implement. I could not wait for its arrival, and installed immediately after opening it from and removing it from its box. It’s install was extremely easy and self explanatory.Extremely well built. Has a good sturdy weight, due to its material composition, made of steel and aluminum. I have it Installed directly to the roof access ladder to my 5th wheel RV, and mounted my StarLink Dishy mast right set right into the pole mounting clamp portion of the device.The clamps to connecting the mount to the RV ladder tubing is perfect size providing a sufficient grip and clamping range. The clamp securing the Dishy Mount is of the same result, with a sufficient grip with an ample clamping range.I am quite happy with the result and quality of this StarLink mast mount. The clamping mount is priced fairly and seems it will provide an excellent means to supporting and maintaining a secured hold for the Dishy. The mounting clamps presents it self with a sleek, modern, simple design concept, with a very specific function. Although primarily market for mounting the StarlInk Dishy. This pole mount has a great potential for other pole mounted equipment and just a Dishy. With that feature in mind, it offers versatility with other antenna or equipment mounting needs.Dishy and its other components add up to expensive investment. If not installed properly, and maintained, it can become a worthless pile of plastic and steel.This mount with a good contact mounting point, will provide the most excellent means to getting the dishy off the ground and high up where it is intended. I’ve read and heard many stories where others have had their Dishy driven over, crushed, or have fallen from an insufficient mounting point. This mount provides surety and a confident hold high up and away from ground traffic.I am quite happy with this mount. Perfect in size, features, and build with quality we of materials, and easy to use function. All good all around.

Inspection of this mount clearly evidenced robust construction with good quality materials. However anyone planning to use the mount in a marine environment needs to know that the aluminum antenna mast clamp is in direct contact with stainless steel hardware. Aluminum and 300 series stainless steel are widely separated on the galvanic series so you can anticipate galvanic corrosion where these parts come into contact once exposed to saltwater. I am mounting the antenna on my seagoing sailboat but I like this mount so much that I’m going to try to prevent or slow the corrosion by coating contact areas with nonconductive penetrating lubricant. The only interface which looks like it may freeze up through neglect is the stainless hinge pin supporting the moving aluminum clamp jaw, so I’ll keep an eye on that. If the mast clamp were constructed of stainless steel this would be a flawless mount for marine applications. I tested all components with a magnet and found no mild steel. Away from the saltwater environment the materials employed should prove very durable.The two tubing clamps connect the mount very securely to the round one inch stainless steel tubing I’m attaching the mount to on my boat (example pictured). The silicone rubber sleeves on the tubing mounts aid in a secure grip and silicone rubber is UV resistant hence durable in exposed conditions. The aluminum mast clamp is well sized to clamp onto the 1.5” OD section of the Starlink antenna mast.Despite the potential galvanic corrosion issue, which I believe to be manageable, I’m giving this very well constructed Starlink antenna mount 5 stars. I believe it will serve well even in a marine environment with a little routine maintenance to protect points of dissimilar metal contact.

This is a spectacularly well designed and easy to install mount. Better than US versions costing 3 - 4 times as much. I ordered the 316 marine version. I will update if it starts rusting in a marine environment (which 316 shouldn't).Edit:4 Months and 1500 sea miles later, review still stands. No sign of rust.

I got this to install my starlink on my RV. It worked well, but i ended up going with another option.

Prices fluctuate regularly and I always recommend shopping around and comparing what’s available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy.This mount exceeded my expectations for quality and function. It is a well-engineered device. Super easy to mount and remove. It’s a good design, made from high-quality materials. I’m very impressed with the quality. It consists of a combination of steel and aluminum parts. The pieces are machined well. I like that the clamps that bind to my ladder are covered in a protective silicone rubber to avoid scathing or otherwise marring the ladder.If you plan to use it for anything besides the Starlink mast, you may find the fully-closed diameter of the clamp is larger/wider than expected, but for it’s intended purpose, it’s perfect. You will not be disappointed.5 stars. Excellent, practical design, very high quality and function.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. Very poor quality, functionality, or other issues.2 Stars: Do not buy. Not as bad as a 1 Star, but it still has major downsides.3 Stars: There are some issues as described in my review.
