This bearing pressed in nicely to my John Deere 36" mower deck. I used a shop press and lightly lubed the parts with WD40 before pressing them in. It was a nice tight fit and the jacksheave pulley spins pretty freely now. If I were rebuilding another deck I wouldn't hesitate to buy this or any other Stens brand part. I've bought some other Stens parts for my mower and have had no problems with fit or quality thus far.

I have a 1972 John Deere 110 with the 48 inch deck. I decided to rebuild my entire deck, strip and repaint, replace bearings, etc. This was the exact replacement for the bearings in the large double pulley on the middle of the deck. Removing the assembly from the deck was a challenge to say the least! There is a roll pin on the underside that put up a fight. Then used a torch to blast then hammer out the pulley/bearing setup from the underside. Once out I discovered that the bearing is “pressed” into the pulleys. Thankfully I have access to a large press at work, which made short work of it. Putting the whole thing back together is easy. The finished project is PERFECT! Apparently all the noise that the deck was making was coming from this bearing, now with the new one my deck hums.
