The board is loose and can quickly pick up speed when pumped. It’s not set up for deep carves as or bottom turns, experienced wheel bite multiple times.Thumbs down for durability and quality of build. The board’s front axle broke after about a month of regular use, causing injury. It’s impossible to do grinds on the front truck so the truck was not abused.It is one of the cheaper surf skates, but you get what you pay for. Don’t expect it to last. Because of the poor build quality, safety is an issue. Buy at your own risk.Update:My hand has not completely healed after month or so. The doctor told me all I can really do is heat and ice the injury alternatively. I didn’t expect the injury to last this long.Although the front truck lasted only about a month, I was only given a partial refund from the seller. I’d be cautious about purchasing this item because the only way to for you to know if there’s a defect in the product is to use it. And if it breaks down in a say a month, and therefore the defect is then revealed to you...you don’t really have a satisfactory remedy.Hopefully, you don’t sustain an injury because of the product defect because you’re on your own for medical treatment. If you send it back within the return window, you’ve used the product and it’s not in its original state so you won’t get a full refund. Further, you may be violating Amazon’s return policy for not returning the product in its original state, even if that state concealed a defective.So unless you can detect whether there is a defect in the product just by looking at it, I would pass on this one.

I absolutely love this thing. I had never been on a skateboard before I bought this, so the learning curve was a bit steep. I'm a surfer and ride a shortboard, but I've never been able to pump for speed or perform powerful turns. The problem is that you get so little time on the wave to practice. A board like this allows you to focus on the skill of pumping.The board arrived in perfect condition, no assembly required (although you do have to remove an annoying plastic piece from one of the wheels).The trick to riding this is to kick off with your front foot, place it on the front of the board, then adjust and put your back foot at the back of the curved-up tailpiece. That's what allows you to pump for speed. The movement is exactly like pumping a surfboard: bend your legs, move your back arm in forward circles while pointing with your front arm, and use your hips to generate power.I wish there were more tutorials and videos online for this. It's a great board.
