This item was PURfect for our kitty. She didn’t mind wearing it. We took it off when we could watch her…she wouldn’t get at stitches. She slept in it. It is a mesh so breathable and she could jump down off bed because it didn’t obstruct her vision. Will never put those plastic cones on our furbaby again! This is also easy on and off with a large Velcro adjustable neck for cone. Plastic cones are horrible to put on and remove and of course pets do not like them. Highly recommend this for cats. Our baby is 23 pounds and adapted very well to it.

Pro: Looks pretty, and soft enough my cat can sleep with itCon: WAY too long and the velcro is too wide so it's hard/noisy to take off, but at the same time, too easy for cats to slip out of it

My cat had to have surgery on her knee and she had previously had such a hard time with the plastic cone when she was spayed. I ordered this and it is so much better! She's definitely more comfortable in this than she was in the plastic one. It's softer, so more comfortable, but still does the job it needs to do. I also like that it's mostly transparent so she can see out of the sides.

I had two cats neutered so I bought two collars. The medium size is approximately the same size as a 12cm Vet One collar issued at a veterinarian office. This worked fine for a ten lbs. cat. The 14 lbs. cat could almost get past the edge which you would not want. This was lighter weight and more comfortable than the usual. I did not have to take the collar off to feed the cats. I could fold a part of the edge back so the cats could feed. The mesh could hold water after the cat drinks, and when the cat scratches he may scratch a small hole in the mesh. One of the cats did this, however I could still use the collar again. I don't have cats neutered every day, so it was a hard choice. This did work for me, I don't know if it is any better than any other product. It came in an envelope semi creased and folded which I did not like, but it did straighten out okay. I prefer this over the "Vet One" brand collar.

My cat has been having massive issues with over-grooming, licking his hind legs bloody. While we’re trying to figure out with the vet what the cause might be (likely combination of multiple causes with habit enforcement and resulting stress) he’s needed to live in a cone for months to keep the inflammation and recurring infections in check. I purchased more than half a dozen variations from inflatable donuts to various cones. These are the ultimate ones. They are very light, reasonably comfortable for him, don’t restrict his vision and ability to heat and smell his environment and they can very easily be watched. He can even wear them on brief mental health excursions outside in the yard.If he dunks the bottom into his water dish is easily dried off with a paper towel. We got now 3 of them: 2 medium to change out when washing is needed and a large one when he has really bad attacks. Best cones ever.
