This paracord could tie up a drop bear. If ever attacked due to forgetting to put a dab of vegemite behind the ears, the drop bear will be in for a hell of a shock. He'll be trussed up like a Christmas turkey in no time.

This paracord has been used to make boot laces with metal aglets. (Aglets are those funny little metal ends on laces) we have actually torn lengths of this cord apart to individually test the paracord filaments, fishing line and fire filament. All test proved the manufacturers descriptions are accurate. Fishing line worked well, fire filament made a good tinder start and single filaments of the paracord worked well for small jobs around the campsite and are good tensile strength, Even with all inner stands used, you could still use the outer sheath as a temporary shoelace to get you back to civilization. When cutting lengths it is highly recommended that you have a heat source (lighter) to sear the ends quickly to reduce fraying. Make sure you extinguish the ends! The fire tape burns well and so the cord will not extunguish itself like standard paracord. Highly recommend for campers, hunters, preppers and hikers.

Kevlar strands, nylon, and others so fishing, starting fires are a big plus. Hold 650 pounds so it will hold it's own. Valued for holding tents, hammocks, or yourself if needed. Price point great. Durable and comes in multiple colors and lengths to fit any budget. This is real paracord with multiple functions and use.

UPDATE: I tested the fire tinder strand by fraying a piece with my knife edge and striking a ferro rod with my knife. It lit on my first try, and a 1" long piece burned for almost a full minute! That is impressive, indeed!Paracord has long been a crucial part of any fully prepared emergency pack. But how can you make it even better? By creating it with multiple internal strands that can be used for crucial survival tasks. Of course, you can use it as cordage - that's its primary role, and it does it well. But, it is made with ten internal strands that can be separated and used individually for a variety of tasks: making snares, tying off, fishing line, and even one strand made of jute that makes excellent tinder for a fire. You should never leave home without paracord. Given its tensile strength, it has myriad uses. But you can get this paracord and let it provide you with a slew of valuable tools should you need it. Plus, it costs very little more. It's available in multiple colors based on your needs or preference - I selected one of the camo patterns. In my primary BoB, I carry 100' of standard paracord and an additional 100' of the multi-strand. It's better to be prepared!
