Good, sturdy staples that fit well into my Acme Cat 5 stapler. They roll through the stapling mechanism well. Recommended.

I liked the quality of the staples or Tacs as they are rounded and suits coax and other cables. Being 14mm long they are suitable for softwoods.I disliked having to buy so many as I am retired and don’t use as many but I couldn’t find a seller that sold just a few packets.

These staples are great. Like others have said they are white on top and curved a bit to allow rounded cables to sit comfortably when fastened down by these staples. The sides are not white but they are instead driven into the wall or surface that you are stapling into.As others have pointed out the paint can come off. Don't fault the company or the staples. It's not an easy task to effectively bond paint to small strips of metal like this and then mechanically hit them into a wall with a staple gun. You're bound to lose some paint. Just calm down, remove the staple, and try again. With that said, I used these to run Ethernet cable, cat-6 flat wire. I maybe had 3 staples that I would call a redo since the paint came off. However I didn't redo them. The cat-6 was white, the wall was white, and when the staple was holding it all down you could barely notice it. Even with a white staple you can see it with some effort. If some paint is going to bother you that much just redo the staple, run the cable in the wall, or paint it yourself with some whiteout. Honestly it's not a big deal.As for my cable, be careful with these or any staple. Make sure you have the right gun and use guides to fire the staples straight. In my case I had a flat cable, not round. Round cables are perfect with these. Flat are a perfect fit. On a few occasions I would clip the shielding of my cable. Nothing dramatic, but I could see that I gave it a paper cut. On ONE instance I was careless and fired a staple right into the cable. I removed it promptly and tested the cable before proceeding. In my case i was lucky and saw no major degradation to the signal. Your experience may vary if you start punching holes into your cables. Again, no fault of the staples, it is my fault for playing so close to the edge. But these worked great for the job. Small and discrete. Wonderful. As always make sure you have the right staple gun for the job. I now own two staple guns because I got the wrong one first. As they say, measure twice, purchase once. Lesson learned but money not wasted. In my case at least since I can use both. These worked great on a fairly shielded cat-6 flat cable and would work even better on round cable. They hold tight to the wall with no give to the cable. They helped me get the job done!
