I bought this to replace the screw on valve chuck that came with the portable inflator that I bought, as that often got cross threaded on older car valves.Unfortunately, the locking mechanism on this favours convenience over efficiency; this just clips to the valve on one side, and the pressure on one side only means that the seal is not perfect and air is escaping all the time.The only solution I have found is to hold the chuck and continuously press it into the valve; not at all what I want.So I am now looking for a valve extension with an all round rubber grommet type seal, as typically found on modern bicycle pumps.
