It worked well for drilling a tiny pilot hole to place a screw in a confined space. It's the ideal too for drilling holes using bits less than 2mm in diameter. Unlike some inexpensive drill chucks, this one centers well, and the quality is good, if not outstanding.

Almost EVERY pin vice you can find is junk unless you buy an $80 machine tool brand. Either you have rounded collets that take vise grip pliers to tighten the bit, or you get off center cut collets that cause the bit to wobble, for love of god and country, and through trial and error purchases, you simply cannot find a working pin vice for small bits these days. Except this... This Tamiya pin vice works. You can simply loosen the collet ring with your fingers, slide in a small bit, finger tighten the collet, and you have an extremely well centered bit that don't wobble, and don't slip while drilling. It just works! I have only used mine on #72 and #80 bits, as that is all I use a pin vise for.

Neben anderen Handbohrern nutze ich diesen von Tamyia seit einiger Zeit. Er ist Tamyia-typisch sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und liegt gut in der Hand. Leider lassen sich nur Bohrer mit einem Schaftdurchmesser von 0,1mm - 1mm verwenden, nicht so wie bei meinen anderen Handbohrern, wo sich der Durchmesser mittels Hülse anpassen lässt. Aber ich nutze ihn jetzt für 0,2mm Bohrer, die ich permanent eingespannt lasse und da erfüllt er absolut seinen Zweck.

Ich habe einen möglichst dünnen Halter benötigt, um die Bohrungen in meiner Brühgruppe frei zu machen.Das trifft auf den Halter zu, also Soll erfüllt ... was ich bei dem Preis aber auch erwarte.

Foolishly bought this little vice after seeing in the reviews that it actually takes up to 3.2 drill bits not 1mm, this is in fact false and the vice will only take up to 1mm bits as stated. Don't make my mistake and trust the product description over reviews!
