I'm a big fan of Teresa's ornaments and have purchased many over the years. Lets start by addressing the fact that this is tiny! It is much smaller than I expected from looking at the images, but I should have noticed that it said 11cms. That being said it looks good when lit up and we have little garden shelves where it sits nicely. Only negative really is the price, at time of review it is £16.99 which is a little overpriced given the size, when for a few quid more you could get something more substantial from the same Teresa range.I hope you have found this review helpful.As a Vine tester member, I’m encouraged to give honest feedback, be that positive, neutral or negative based on my experience with the product. TERESA'S COLLECTIONS Garden Ornaments seem to always be such lovely decorative items for the garden and I thought my wife would like this for her flower bed. I was wrong, she finds it so cute that it is on the kitchen window that looks out onto the back garden. Even though the solar panel is quite small I was surprised to see it still lit up when I got up to get a glass of water in the night. The smiling tortoises give you a warm feeling and this is a wonderful ornament for the garden, or the kitchen. Recommended.

A pre-note of something I noticed that interested me is that it seems as though a bigger one of these used to exist but the pricing was kinda crazy glancing at its history though who knows what the real value of the smaller version is.Admittedly my first impressions weren't too good not because of the size because I'm not silly enough to make assumptions but the fact that there was what I could only assuming were many strands of glue from everything being set into the overall resin model though thankfully I was able to remove them without affecting the paint or anything.The little solar panel seems to do its job properly charging up with sunlight and turning on the leds when it gets darker (easily tested by just covering with the hand), could look pretty nice on a windowsill instead of outright putting it outside which would keep the panel facing outside and the lights in a way you see them. Could be decently recommendable to those that like tortoises.

I'm in love with this cute little ornament, It's solar panel so it doesn't require any batteries. Just make sure you place it in an area that gets a bit of sun on the solar panelsIt lights up nicely and looks very good in the garden. I'm very pleased

So süß und so schön. Bei gutem Lichteinfall kann der locker die Nacht durchleuchten.. teuer, aber sehr schön.

Ich habe das Produkt als Geschenk gekauft. Die Schildkröte an sich und das Baby sind wirklich sehr süß. Allerdings war eins der LEDs eingedrückt und von innen kommt man natürlich nicht ran, um es sozusagen wieder herauszudrücken. Auch wirken die Blumen und die eingeklebten LEDs etwas unsauber gearbeitet. So kam es für mich - insbesondere, da es ein Geschenk sein sollte - nicht in Betracht und ich habe es zurückgeschickt. Retoure lief problemlos.

Habe ich verschenkt. Die beschenkte Person freute sich sehr, die Figur ist super lieb, wirkt sehr hochwertig und ist wirklich wetterfest. Leuchtet sehr schön am Abend, nicht zu grell, sehr angenehm.

....und der pure Kitsch. Mehr Kitsch geht kaum. ;--)Aber manchmal darf es auch mal kitschig sein im Vorgarten.Einziges kleines Manko: die LED-Leuchten sind im Dunkeln eine Spur zu grell, das Licht wirkt recht kalt. Hier könnte man mit etwas wärmerem Lichtton vielleicht nachbessern. Die Materialanmutung ist in Ordnung, wenn das Kunstharz für 2 oder 3 Jahre die Farben hält, ist alles im grünen Bereich. Für den Preis geht das Teil in Ordnung und im Unterholz ist es dafür in der Nacht auch schön hell....allerdings nicht ganz so gut für Willi, die Wühlmaus.
