Ein hochwertig verarbeitetes Festplattengehäuse (DAS).Super um es z.B.als kleines Datengrab für die Mediendatenbank einzusetzen.Die Lüfter sind angenehm leise und nur innerhalb eines halben Meters leicht aber nicht störend wahrzunehmen.Das beiligende 1m USB Kabel wa rmir leider zu kurz.Bei mir läuft das ganze aber auch gut mit einem "hochwertigen" 5m USB Kabel. Da muss man beim Einkauf etwa aufpassen.Mit USB 3.2 Gen 2 ist das ganze auch sehr flott.Ich konnte mit meiner schnellsten Festplatten (16TB Seagate) Datenraten von bis zu ca. 280MB/s messen was wohl auch nur durch die Festplatte selbst begrenzt wird.Ob man auch Sata SSDs (bis 550MB/S) von der Performance voll ausschöpfen kann konnte ich leider noch nicht testen.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el DAS TerraMaster de 6 bahías. Cumple perfectamente su función y ofrece un rendimiento excelente. A pesar de los pequeños detalles a mejorar, su rendimiento, calidad y relación calidad-precio lo convierten en una excelente opción para quienes necesitan almacenamiento externo de alta capacidad.Lo positivo:· Conexión USB 3.0 tipo A: Ampliamente compatible y con velocidades de transferencia muy buenas.· Refrigeración activa: Mantiene los discos duros a buena temperatura, pero no es excesivamente sonoro, siempre se podría sustituir los ventiladores.Baja latencia: La lectura y escritura de datos es bastante rápida, la tarjeta USB funciona bastante bien y no añade excesiva latencia.· Bastidor metálico: Da sensación de fiabilidad, no está construido con plásticos endebles como otros de la competencia.Lo que podrían mejorar:· Cargador externo: Preferiría una fuente de alimentación interna y conectarle un cable estándar como en cualquier equipamiento de red profesional, pero este depende de un cargador externo.· Posibilidad de enracarlo: no hay disponible soporte, habría que hacerlo a medida.· Botón de reinicio y retardo: Sería útil contar con un botón para reiniciar el dispositivo y otro para retrasar la reactivación de los discos duros tras un corte de energía, evitando así posibles problemas. En ocasiones, si el sistema depende del contenido de estos discos duros, no se reactivan a tiempo y la BIOS arranca sin detectarlos.· Sin enlace a SAI: No existe la opción de vincularlo directamente a un Sistema de Alimentación Ininterrumpida (SAI), lo que sería una característica muy buena para proteger los datos en caso de cortes de energía.

Es ist sehr wertig und stabil gebaut und bietet Unmengen an Speicherplatz. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!Ich nutze es an einem Mac Mini, der mit 10Gbe als NAS läuft.Die Steckplätze nutze ich teils als Raid0 und den anderen Teil als Spiegel der Daten.Zudem eine Platte als time machine BU meines Macbook Pro.Für mich ist das die ultimative Backup und Datensicherung.Mittels wireguard kann ich von überall auf meine Daten zugreifen und Time Machine Backups machen.

Zuerst fällt auf: Die Verarbeitung, die Haptik, sind ein Traum. Dann, bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme: Die Lüfter sind superleise, ich habe zwei D6-320 etwa einen Meter von mir entfernt stehen, kann sie hören wenn ich mich darauf konzentriere, aber sie stören mich überhaupt nicht. Die Durchlüftung ist auch sehr gut, die 3.5"-Platten wurden im voll bestückten Gehäuse nie wärmer als etwa 35°C, und das im stundenlangen Dauerbetrieb.Bei mir war die 10 GBit/s Verbindung - also USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 oder wie auch immer das bezeichnet wird - leider nicht stabil, deswegen bin ich am Rechner auf einen USB 3.1 Port mit 5 GBit/s ausgewichen. Das laste ich aber nicht dem Gehäuse an, sondern vermute das Problem eher bei dem Kabel - USB-C auf USB-A - das ich verwenden musste, da es zwar angeblich diese Geschwindigkeit unterstützt, aber bei USB-Kabeln wird viel behauptet und wenig gehalten.Ich betreibe das Gehäuse an einem Mini-PC mit Unraid und es gab auch bei tagelangen Transfers keinerlei Probleme (bei 5 GBit/s). Nachdem ich mit diesem Gehäuse so sehr zufrieden war, legte ich mir kurze Zeit später noch ein zweites zu. Der Lüfter war beim zweiten Gehäuse genauso leise wie beim ersten. Ich kann dieses Gehäuse wirklich sehr empfehlen und würde es jederzeit erneut kaufen.

Hace justo lo que tiene que hacer, sin florituras , los discos duros funcionan perfectamente y con el tope de velocidad que puedan dar los hds la conexión es muy estable, un disco de 12tbs que en otras cajas externas daba fallos de desconexión y mucho ruido al funcionar en esta caja funciona de maravilla, sin duda es una compra recomendada

Works better than expected, no issues with disconnects. The internal timeout for putting the disks to sleep is a bit short, and it doesn't support passing thru the SMART status of drives (bizarrely, as most people will probably RAID a few and want to know).Solid and works, I don't hate it.

This enclosure is built like a tank. Looks and feels more like an industrial-grade device than something built for consumers.It's heavy even when it's empty and when filled with hard drives it weighs like a brick.Very little plastic and a lot of metal is used.Assembly is not entirely tool-less, you will need a screwdriver to install hard drives. One is included in the box.As for those cooling fans, I can hear them somewhat but they aren't very noisy.Main chips inside the enclosure:Six Asmedia ASM1053E USB to SATA bridges, one for each slotTwo Realtek RTS5420 USB 3.1 gen 2 4-port USB hubsDisk slots 5 and 6 are wired to the primary USB hub. Disk slots 1 to 4 are wired to a secondary USB hub which is wired to a port on the primary hubMy only concern is those USB hubs. Connecting multiple hubs together can cause stability issues. I had absolutely no issues so far though, even under load.I didn't test 10gpbs speeds as I do not have a working 10gbps capable controller.Please note, while this is a TerraMaster product, it works like a regular mass storage device. It is compatible with any system which supports USB mass storage devices. TerraMaster NAS is not required.

Es de un tamaño adecuado respecto a otros DAS/NAS que tengo aun teniendo una bahía extra, y me gusta el diseño y que cumple con lo que dicen respecto a velocidades. En discos independientes de 3,5 SATA 3, las velocidades son estables de 140/150Mbps, en SSD no hice pruebas aún.Solamente tengo un problema que estoy esperando a ver si me contesta el fabricante o alguien sabe que puede ser. Es que no para de desconectarse y conectarse los discos duros, tengo Windows 11 y está conectado por USB type c 10Gbps, pero cada rato se desconectan las unidades y al minuto se vuelven a conectar solas apareciendo las pantallas del escritorio de cada disco duro en el DAS, no entiendo por qué pasa esto.Por el ruido, sinceramente, no veo que sea muy ruidosa, está dentro de lo normal y particularmente con 3 DAS/NAS diferentes, no tengo un ruido exagerado y de esta concretamente creo que es de las 3, la que menos hace.Mis otras unidades no me hacen esto, y eso que una tiene también la función de Sleep, pero no se desconectan, se quedan paradas y cuando entro a un disco duro, se activan.¿Alguna idea?-- UPDATE 08 Abril 2024 --Haciendo pruebas y demás, he cambiado la conexión del cable usb c a otra y por el momento, en estos días, no ha habido más desconexiones, debía ser que estaría mal conectado o algún problema con esa otra conexión.Le pongo 5 estrellas :) ahora sí

It does its job great, for traditional drives the enclosure is one of the best. Unless you're looking for more speed (but this is usually useless since HDD are capped). The drives works perfect with Softraid and has good thermals, an upgrade over de D5-300C, more reliable and the best service.Don't hesitate as TerraMaster has the best quality for the price.Speeds verified, comes with a USB C cable and tools to install.

Die Schächte sind Hotswap-geeignet. Verbaut ist ein interner USB Hub mit einem ASMedia ASM1051E per Schacht. Anders als bei vielen anderen DAS Gehäusen die billige SATA port multiplier nutzen kommt so bei TerraMaster die volle Bandbreite an. Wer nur 20-30 MB/s bekommt, sollte kein USB 2.0 Ladekabel nutzen. Die Controller reichen zudem die richtigen Daten an das Betriebssystem durch, Seriennummern und stabile Namen sind gegeben. Somit auch für TrueNAS geeignet.
