I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I particularly love Fawkes and all that a phoenix stands for (rebirth, evolution, rising from the ashes, etc.) This collectible from the Noble Collection is beautiful. It has vibrant realistic colors and the pose that the phoenix in shows off the gorgeous span of its wings and the curve of the tail feathers as well. It comes with a "stage" to pose on so it can easily stand on a shelf and be admired.

As a collector, bought these when they were released. While I LIKE them (Fawkes & Hedwig) they are very light dare I say flimsy. To place Hedwig and Fawkes on the base was problematic. There is no stand placement. They stand on there tale feathers and were very unsteady. They tipped over every few seconds. Very delicate. I fear one good fall on a non carpet floor would be the end of it. Love how they look just not the material it’s made out of.

It's small - won't take up much shelf space - but very nicely detailed and painted. You could display it without the backdrop as it will stand upright on its own. Nice for your Potter collection or as a gift.
