I love Thea Gouvenour patterns. This was my present to me. It arrived in a plastic bag, not the original selophane package. There were threads missing and the DMC/symbol guide. Because the image is small and I have previous used kits that I could use threads from I only required the DMC numbers against the symbols page. Despite contacting the company for the one page, a simple email response. I have heard nothing back. Very disappointed.

I love this cross stitch kit. I like having the floss separated and labeled. It saves money not to buy an entire lot of each color. However, I didn’t like the white white fabric and large count, so I bought 28 count in a dyed light blue which will be much better. The other complaint I have is that the tape that was used to hold all the floss together was very difficult to remove without fraying the ends of the floss. A better method should be used.

Lively kit with good quality materials. Lovely chart. Well laid out. Usual high standard for anything produced by Thea. Not overly complex but would require a skill level above basic beginner level.

I purchased this sometime ago and I’m just getting ready to do the cross stitch. I am very disappointed in quality of the cloth. Continues to unravel, even after I’ve sewn the edges. When I put it on a frame to stitch it doesn’t lineup stretches horribleGoing to purchase additional cloth just to do the pattern.
