Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal! Wie wahr...Nach nicht einmal vier Monaten war unser Opel wieder inkontinent. Die Ursache schnell ausgemacht: das Gehäuse des Thermostaten hat sich komplett verformt und ist hierdurch undicht.Finger weg!

Ne avevo preso uno presso un rivenditore della zona e dopo un mese circa si era guastato. Questo preso già da 2 anni ancora funziona perfettamente nella mia opel corsa d 1.2 gpl

Nach ca.1000km Betrieb hat sich der Flansch um ca. 0,7mm geworfen. Die einst runde Flansch Fläche ist jetzt oval. Massiver Kühlmittelverlust! Achtung ! Gefahr von Motorschäden! Kunststoff Auswahl definitiv falsch! Kennzeichnung fehlt! Billig Schrott!

Edit:Almost a year after installing the product, my engine warning light came on because the thermostat had seized. Even when my engine was running at 112°C to 115°C for a good while before the warning light came on it was stuck shut and wouldnt let any coolant flow through the system.I had to drive the rest of the way home (2 hours) in "10mins driving then 20mins stopping to cool off" stints.In conclusion,This product is only a TEMPORARY FIX. It didn't even make it past 8000 miles of use before it seized.My recommendation is to just go and buy a proper one for £60 - £70 as they come with an enforceable guarantee and will last at least 60,000 miles.Lesson learned, "you get what you paid for"....Original post:>The thermostat on my car wasn't opening properly and was causing the cooling system to overheat.>I ordered this part (after checking it was the correct part) to replace the old thermostat.>Part arrived in good condition and had good packaging (rubber cap to protect electric socket)>Installed it and now my cooling system is running at the correct temperature and the problem has been solved.(Note) - Only thing to look out for is when you are taking out the old thermostat, be careful when you are taking the holding three bolts out, as i sheared one and had to use an extraction bit to get it out. (very annoying but that's old Corsa's for you)
