I use slip bobbers in a variety of fishing situations - from drifting spawn sacks in turbulent rivers for rainbow trout to finesse presentations with leeches for walleye.I am quite pleased with the assortment that I recently received and will be using them once the waterways open up. The brass ring at the top of the stem is smooth and will reduce line abrasion when casting or fighting a fish. The bobber stops that I use will not slide through the hole, but I always add a bead between the bobber and the stop to prevent this anyway. The colours are bright and easy to see and appear to have a durable finish, and the green bottom may make them less visible to the fish.Compared to what I pay for a lesser product at a big box auto store, at less than $3.50 each, these are a great value.

Great accessory for outdoor fishing and being able to fish different types of fish when going to the lake. There are a few different Bob sizes which allows for easy adjustment of the bob based on the size of the fish being caught. In general they feel like they are well designed and work well for getting fish. Love these fishing items!

These slip bobbers are well made. You'll notice the metal ring/grommet at the top of the stem that helps minimize friction with the line. One thing to note, the diameter of the stem is larger than some other slip bobbers, which means that you will need to use a bead or a silicone bobber stop in order to get proper function with these bobbers. A thread knot stop on its own will probably be too small and will pass through the stem. Overall, I view the larger stem opening as a plus, as it lets the bobber slide up the line more freely than others, which means I don't need to finesse the line to get my bait to sink to the proper depth. One other note, the measurements in the description are accurate, but I personally would have found it to be more helpful to know how much weight each float is designed to "balance". I was expecting these to be a bit larger.I'd use the #3 (smallest) for finesse panfish rigs and possibly trout. (Bluegill / Crappie / stream trout), the #2 is probably going to be good for rigging for perch and smallmouth bass, with a couple of split shot and 1/2 to whole nightcrawler or a 2-4" shiner. The #1 is probably good for scenarios using larger minnows or more weight, making long casts where finesse is less of an issue. Bass and Walleye in the wind come to mind.

This is a review for THKFISH Fishing Floats Balsa Wood Slip Bobbers, Fishing Bobbers Stick Slip Bobber for Fishing Crappie Bluegill Trout Bass Panfish Catfish Walleye 5PCSThese bobbers are nice, and look pretty good. The paint makes it easy to see whether this bobber is floating or pulled under. They feel pretty durable, and I would expect them to last awhile considering they are wood. I would imagine the paint will probably chip or wear off before the bobbers become nonfunctional.Overall, I am happy with these bobbers and will update my review if my opinion changes.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but these are really nice bobbers—a big step above your typical plastic bobber. I look forward to using them in the lakes and reservoirs here in Colorado.
