Ihr Warenkorb ist leerWarm Black Pro-Mist Hollywood/FX filters were originally designed for the TV and Motion Picture industry, but are now available to all photographers and videographers. These filters offers all the benefits of the Pro-Mist filter in a more subtle form. Highlight flares are controlled and contrast is lowered, but with less lightening of shadows for a more delicate effect. This filter also has the added benefit of the Tiffen exclusive 812Filter which conveys a Warm, romantic feeling and is useful in outdoor open shade by eliminating the blue cast for pleasing effect.

I believe the effects of this filter would be even stronger if you were to use it with film, which may be the intended use anyway, but when used with a digital camera you can get some pretty cool effects in two ways. The first is if you white balance before the filter is on the camera, the filter will warm the image by about 500K and it creates a very warm image that is still interesting and pleasing, but even if you were to white balance after adding the filter the images seem to be warmer in the shadows and in the higher contrast areas. This filter does something to skin tones that is hard to explain but looks good every time. The black pro most filters are incredible to start and the warming addition to this one is a bonus.

That was exactly what I needed. Plus, the shipment arrived a day earlier! That was a pleasant surprise! I have to warn you though, this is too much for a regular 4K camera. You should prefer 1 or 1/8 black.

It definitely blurs out the skin in a natural looking way, my only problem with it is that it really does make everything look VERY ORANGE!unfortunately I gotta return mine because while making my YouTube videos it left me completely Oompa Loompa looking

This 1/2 level filter was fine and Tiffen and Amazon have no fauilt in my disappointment... it was slightly stronger than I wanted. I want a filter that makes oldish ladies look better without looking "gauzed." This was borderline. I need perhaps a 1/4 or 1/8 72mm Watm Black Pro-Mist filter to do this... OR perhaps the Tiffen digital FX package, allowing me to try a variety in post-production.
