The ribs of the umbrella (metals on the inside that supports and gives it shape) literally broke on the second use and made multiple holes in the fabric! Not well made and like any other flimsy umbrella in the market. Absolutely not worth the price.

It came with a pinhole in it, not enough to let water in or tear, but it was there. I'm not sure if in the future it'll lead to damage.And the closing mechanism gets stuck and won't lock the umbrella closed, so I have to press it until it loosens up and gets unstuck.

This is a nicely designed umbrella. High rib count. Has thus far held up well under normal conditions. The size is appropriate cover for 2 people. We live in NYC and disapprove of pedestrians using umbrellas the size normally used for backyard furniture. Just too large for city sidewalks accommodating high volume pedestrian traffic. Also very happy with the red color, which increases visibility in dreary, dark, rainy conditions and which stands out when reclaiming from amongst other umbrellas.

Nice! The umbrella has some heft to it; it's not a lightweight. But not unwieldy. Grip is soft in the hand. Now if it would only storm so I could report on how it handles in the wind and the rain.
