Belle bretelle ! Mais pour une 22 lr, pas pour un fusil de chasse calibre 12 ! Beaucoup trop fine ! Perso je l'ai installé sur une Rossi gallery 22lr et c'est parfait !

I like carrying my hunting rifle on a sling, and have used a milsurp Yugo M98 sling for years. Those are becoming collectible; too precious for field use. I wanted a new sling that had the high quality feel of old leather. In todays world - hard to find. This tourbon sling was available for a reasonable price and if it was rubbish it wasn’t an expensive buy. Anyway, when it arrived it felt quite good, new and slightly compliant. Stitching was neat, metal hardware seems bit delicate compared to military buckles but easy to use. Nothing to scratch the gunstock with. I decided to treat the leather with a very heavy application of a well known gun care ‘universal oil’ - a German brand. That soaks into leather and softens it. A week later it was dry and the new sling feels like a traditional old leather rifle sling; supple, has a little stretch, grabs your jacket so the gun doesn’t slip off your shoulder, and the sling dangles under its own weight, keeping out of your way and hangs well when the gun is stored in the safe. Overall, combined with the ‘universal oil’ - this is a very well priced sling that does exactly what I wanted; replace a well loved high grade historic leather sling. I will buy again!
