It's It's well built but, I bought it to fit my 135mm long scope and unless I really tug on it it will not go on.

This fits my scopes from 11" (4x32 Rimfire) - 14.5" (Leupold Mark 4, with Butler Creek flip caps installed.)Like other reviewer said, it's over built but not 100% versatile. Nonetheless, I give it a 5 stars for the material and craftsmanship.There is a round leather piece at each end of the cover (inside) for second level protection, which I think it's not needed. The thickness of the neoprene and the stretching band make it hard to go over 14.5" when new. I'd say 15" at most when it's set. If you have a 3-9x40 (mine is Redfield Partner), it fits perfectly. I'd recommend you try it...
