These are great value, for the price anyway.Yes the ties are skinny but im pretty sure it is obvious from the product images, or is should be at least, i bought these ties on the basis of how good they looked in the product photos and i was not disappointed at all, these look even better in reality.I have a photoshoot to do tonight, a secretary themed shoot with a nice selection of satin blouses and leather skirts, these ties should look right at home in this shoot.

I bought this pink tie to wear on breast cancer awareness day at my workplace. It's made of sparkly 100% polyester and is thinner than the ties I usually wear but definitely of sufficient length. There was a small bit of black material on the back for tucking the other end of the tie in (I looked it up and apparently it's called a "keeper loop") but it broke straight away as it wasn't stitched in right. But as I prefer tucking the other end into my shirt anyway, this was not a loss and I took the loop off completely. That was the only quality issue I had – the rest of the tie is a lot more well made than I would have expected for such a cheap buy.
