I wanted to like these. I play roller derby and needed new elbow pads. I have TSG's Kraken helmet that fits better than any other one I have tried. I have TSG Force III Knee pads that fit nicely and stay put. I figured the same company should make great elbow pads as well for derby. There is no elbow cup for your elbow to sit in. They rely solely on a tight fit and their grippy rings inside the keep them up. While they do stay on, I don't think I could wear these in a real game(bout) situation. Any player knows how hard we hit the floor on a regular basis, and these just don't cut it. They are probably bound for my skate park set up at this point.
