What's great about this product is that it does not require desk space, is easy to set up, and works with other routers (Linksys in my case), and not just with Amplifi products.

Zugegeben: der "Ubiquiti Amplifi HD Mesh Punkt" und das ganze System ist nicht gerade ein "Schnäppchen", wenn man nur € sieht.Aber was Funktionalität und Einfachheit der Einrichtung betrifft, ist das Produktkonzept meines Erachtens unübertroffen - und ich habe inzwischen wirklich eine Vielzahl an "WLAN-Verstärkern" und Ähnliches unterschiedlichster "renommierter" Hersteller gekauft - de facto hat bisher nichts wirklich wie erwartet funktioniert. Sehr im Gegensatz zu diesem Produkt.Kurz - bin begeistert und würde das Produkt bei Bedarf jederzeit wieder kaufen. Trotz des Preises.

Me ha gustado la facilidad de instalación y configuración. Funciona a la perfección , con actualizaciones periódicas. Perfecto. El pero es el precio elevado.

This review is updated to discuss my recent purchase of the entire system.This product works great and it took only about 7 minutes to set up!As you can see in my earlier review below, I initially purchased just a single mesh point to address a dead zone in my house. The single mesh point worked well, so I ordered the entire system (AmpliFi HD base station and two additional mesh points). The new system bathes my house in fast wifi signal.My flat is in a 1920s building with lots of lathe and plaster and chicken wire in the walls. This is normally a wifi signal killer, so I had lots of wifi dead zones in my place. With the AmplFi HD system I am getting really fast signal and NO DEAD ZONES! Download speed exceeds 125 mbs in most locations in my flat, whereas before using the AmpliFi system I was getting speeds of about 40 mbs in non-dead zones.Setting up the AmpliFi system is very simple using the free iPhone app. There are only two wires in the entire system: the Ethernet cable that connects the base station to your modem and the power cord for the base station. Each mesh point plugs directly into a wall power socket.Here is my review of my earlier purchase of just a single mesh point.This works just as well as promised. I have a wi-fi dead zone that has challenged my Netgear range extender and defeated my extender from Almond. I was desperate for a solution so I looked into mesh systems, and chose AmpliFi. I did not buy the entire system, but simply purchased a single Mesh Point HD. It wirelessly connects to my Arris cable router located at the other end of my house. The Mesh Point HD delivers speeds nearly as fast as the router itself. Plus, it takes less than two minutes set-up via an app that you download onto your phone or tablet. Other advantages: the Mesh Point does not require a different address (e,g, "_ext5") as do most range extenders, therefore you do not have to change network names in different parts of the house.
