I love UCO products. They are innovative and well-made and useful. I bought this as a backup for power outages. The output is sufficient to light up a small room. You have three wicks to light to adjust the light level and how long the candle burns. I haven't burned it all the way up so I'm not sure how long it will last, but it is going strong still with lots of wick and wax after a few hours. This candle comes in a nice tin for storage and it has a compact design. The other plus is that it is beeswax. I love the way it smells and how it burns nicely. I would recommend!

The perfect little camping candle! We used it for both nights camping and it put out great light. We have burned it for about a total of 6 hours and looks like there is plenty of life left in it. Highly recommend to throw in your camping gear and bring with you on your next trip.

This beeswax emergency candle is supposed to last 10 hours with all three wicks lit, or 30 hours with only one wick lit. I haven't used it, as it's been stashed in my emergency supply box, so I can't attest to the amount of light it puts out, but something is better than nothing when the power goes out and it's pitch black inside! Seems a little pricey at around $17, especially when the paraffin version last longer and is $3 less, guess the beeswax is the driver there. Regardless, it's good to have in my emergency supplies, to be prepared if the lights go out!

Out where my husband and I live in rural America, we have frequent planned and unplanned power outages which are different, trust me, but since we tend to have no lights a lot of the time, it is nice to have candles, lots of candles to keep those long and dark nights with a little bit of flicker flame light. I do like this little candle and it sure does seem like it is planned to last a long while which gives me peace of mind. The size is so puny, but kind of in an adorable way, and the scent is 'organic' or 'natural' meaning that it is bees wax which is totally fine with me, I tend to like that scent. Easy to light up, easy to move around, it comes with its own tin can candle holder which is always nicer, and it should do well the next time the power company decides that we will have no electricity for a time.

When I was ordering this, I was trying to find in the listing if this was 30 hours for one wick, or all three. I couldn't find it in the listing, so I took a chance. Technically, it is in the listing as it's BARELY readable on the top of the can in some of the images, but even though I was looking for it I didn't see it. Once I could actually read the top of the can that was in my hand, it's 30 hours on ONE wick, or 10 hours on all three. While I pretty much expected that, it should be more clear in the listing.I got this because I like to have a variety of options for emergency use. I have battery powered LED lights, but I don't ever fully trust batteries for critical things so I like to have a backup. The shelf life of a candle like this will mean that without any maintenance, it's likely my grandkids' grandkids would still be able to light this up with absolutely no maintenance between now and then. I also like having even a small amount of heat available, as I have first-hand experience of how much of a difference it can make.It's a pretty small candle, which is good for space and weight reasons but not burn time. It's nice that it's in a protective tin, making it easy to store at the ready. The price point seems to be at least reasonable for what it is and its actual burn time, but there are cheaper options out there if you don't want or need the tin.
