Come per un altro utente, le poche stelle si riferiscono al fatto che la confezione dei filtri è arrivata con i sigilli di garanzia aperti. Probabilmente qualcuno aveva già effettuato un reso dopo averli provati; la conferma è che uno dei tappi forniti in dotazione era avvitato storto. I filtri erano comunque in perfette condizioni. Avrei acquistato il kit lo stesso a sapere che era riciclato o "ricondizionato", ma avrei preferito saperlo. I filtri non li ho ancora usati sul campo, ma appaiono veramente neutri, perfino sovrapponendone 4 non si notano dominanti cromatiche. Così come non ho mai avuto problemi con l'ND16 da 77 mm acquistato in precedenza (ancora con il vecchio marchio Gobe, ma il prodotto dovrebbe essere identico). Nella confezione, con scatola in cartone diversamente dai filtri Urth venduti singolarmente, ci sono anche due utili tappi protettivi metallici. Consiglio di applicare un lubrificante solido sulle filettature di filtri e tappi, che tendono a grippare e a emettere cigolii strazianti quando ruotano. Probabilmente il problema è maggiore con filtri grandi come i miei (95 mm), che sono anche più delicati da allineare per avvitarli. Difetto per così dire costituzionale e comune agli altri produttori che ho provato, ma continuo a chiedermi perché le filettature non siano già trattate antigrippaggio in fabbrica.

I recently used thesefilters on a slightly cloudy day, and the results were outstanding. The images showed no dominant colors, vignetting, or loss of sharpness. Even when stacking multiple filters on a wide-angle lens, the performance remains exceptional, with only minor adjustments required in post-processing, if any.One of the standout features is the stack caps, which allow me to carry multiple filters, including sets for different mount sizes, with minimal space required. This convenience ensures that the best filter is always with me, no matter where I'm shooting.Overall, I highly recommend the Urth+ filters to any photographer or videographer looking to enhance their work without compromising on quality or budget. These filters have become an indispensable part of my gear, and I can't wait to see what other improvements they bring to my creative journey.

This ND filter kit arrives well packaged in an Urth branded, environmentally friendly circular box. The presentation is excellent and would be more than suitable should you be wishing to give this kit as a gift.This kit itself contains five ND (Neutral Density) filters. ND filters are designed to reduce the amount of light through the lens. This allows you to do things like achieving a shallower depth of field in bright sunshine and harsh lighting conditions without causing the image to be overexposed. Or allowing you to slow your shutter speed to capture silky smooth, almost dream like shots of moving water (such as waterfalls, or waves crashing over rocks).The filters included in this kit are an ND2 filter (which is the equivalent of 1 stop less of light), ND4 (equivalent to 2 stops), ND8 (equivalent to 3 stops), ND64 (equivalent to 6 stops) and ND1000 (equivalent to 10 stops). This is a nice selection of ND filters to have, and allows for a wide range of possible uses. And due to the way they are designed, you can even screw 2 or more together, should you need to.In use the filters worked really well. I noticed no difference to image quality, nor was there any colour shift that I saw. The filters themselves are well made, feel quite sturdy, and screwed on and off my camera (and each other) without any issues. They have a slim rim, which avoids vignetting, even if you stack them.Urth, back when they were called Gobe, always had a good reputation for relatively cheap, but good quality filters. And now they are renamed Urth, it looks like they are continuing that trend with the filters in this kit.In conclusion, I’ve been really impressed by this kit. From the initial presentation, to the build quality, to the quality of the optics themselves. And given their quality, the price is exceptionally good too. Everyone will know you’ve pulled out your stack of ND filters because these babies make squeaking sounds when you unscrew the caps and the stack. I but, having used wonky bargain NDs, these really do stack up: Nice smooth surfaces with no vignetting. I use them a lot for digital and film and they have performed well.
