What i can say so far is the glass is as clear as i expected, but right now i am passing quick judgement based mostly on 2 power and have not needed to even adjust eyepiece yet as when i do it will be mounted on my first test rifle a Gamo Fusion .22 and or those who don't know that is a gas piston and has some nice recoil as the rifle weighs about 6lb without scope. The clicks seem crisp enough how it will react i will follow up this review. As far as handling recoil this is my 5th UTG scope model and they have all handled recoil without a problem. Both the parallax adjustment and the zoom are stiff as they would be in a scope designed for any recoil and i am using a 60mm parallax add on wheel not a 80mm or 100mm both are available however since i hunt i do not like having the openings that will allow brush hang up issues. As far as glass clarity and the 16 power goes that will take fine focus adjustment as i have glasses and astigmatism correction with the 2.7 exit pupil that is always an issue no matter the quality of scope and it is a very complicated issue that requires practiced adjustment and scope handling that i will not even attempt to cover here i will say however many of the clarity issues people encounter are due to poor adjustment coupled with the glass quality and high magnifications, but manage your expectations as far as glass goes the quality you get today vs just 10 years ago has been improved greatly though if you want better glass you have to pay for it.2/13/2020The more i use this scope the more i like it getting it zeroed in on a yard gun i love it and now i find myself wanting it on better rifles, but the 2-16 is kind of limiting for me as i like seeing things up close. The glass is pretty clear up through the full range i did need some serious adjustment focusing the eyepiece on the reticle, but after that wow it looks great and looks good in general at every range i deal with generally an area where the distance is under 250yds and as an air rifle scope more than adequate and we are talking under 50yds and my specific use going for 2nd zero or on the drop with heavy pellet in .22 at 40yds or so with an apogee no higher than 3/4" so my use for this scope very specific. For me its an air rifle as a yard gun and the low magnification and wide field of view are great for target acquisition and for this sort of use it is about as perfect scope as you are going to find.If i were going for longer range and powder burner use well i would get something a little more costly and with more magnification, but people have different ideas and styles and expectations when choosing a scope and this would in my opinion be great as a rimfire hunting scope as well though for me with my 17HMR i want more magnification. I would also call this about a perfect 22lr hunting scope. Again my only real advice just don't let anyone tell you what you need.

When I read reviews I always go for the high then the lows. Most of the low said that the scope was not clear on the edge which is very true if you do not have your eye relief correct. And as almost any scope the parallax need to be adjusted correctly and to make sure that it is set for YOUR EYES and shooting style when adjusted correctly it is spot on. I mounted it on a Mrod and after shooting it I am about to get one for my dear rifle as this is a great scope for the money and has several feature that I wish my leupold had at half the price points. I do not use the lighted portion of the scope, I like the locking turrets, and the parallax by the other turrets, the flip up covers are great once you have adjusted the scope for your eyes (with glasses) and then reposition them. All in all this one is a keeper.
I don't know but I wana shoot stuff

We'll built, accurate adjustments (out to 811 yards so far), clear objective but does not have good edge to edge clarity. I would not use the rings either.

For all of you reading this, a little background. I purchased this scope to replace a Leapers UTG Accushot 3-12 wire reticle scope on my 18" AR-15. That scope is the same as the best seller here on amazon being that i bought it here. For the price point it was a phenomenal scope and exceeded my expectations in almost every way. That being said, this was an upgrade, and an upgrade it is!First Impressionsopening the box, it looked the same as any other Leapers scope. same turrets same bell shape, same lens covers. on the outside, it looks almost exactly the same as the 3-12 it was replacing. but it is far from the same. Everything about this scope is better. Reticle style, illumination, zoom, the feel of the turret clicks (yes, these are way more tactile than the cheaper scopes and the lines on the turrets actually line up with the reference dot on the scope!!!). And just as a side note, this is only an inch longer than the 3-12 compact that i had. That extra inch makes a difference in mounting on an AR for the better!Detailed ReviewReticleThe 3-12 that I was using prior to this had a wire mildot reticle. this one has an etched glass UMOA reticle. While the wire reticle was good, it was a bit thick for long range shooting. This new UMOA glass etched reticle is great for just that! it is less than half as thick as the wire reticle will be. also, i am a huge fan of the UMOA style reticle as it is much easier to make adjustments accurately the first time on the turrets since the reticle and the turrets are both in MOA format. Also, if you are familiar with the mill dot scopes form Leapers, then you know that the illumination lights up the entire reticle as well as the inside of the scope tube. This scope only illuminates the center floating cross and has very little tube illumination at reasonable brightness settings.Magnification and ClarityThe 2-16x magnification on this scope is absolutely wonderful! it is smooth, accurate (as far as i can tell) and is a big improvement over the 12x max on the other scope for long range shooting (600-1000 yards). I was putting shots consistently on a 12 inch plate at 880 yards with the other scope. this one should make that easy. Clarity is decent for a scope at this price point. as far as i can tell it is slightly better at longer ranges the the 3-12 compact and i was impressed with that one. Obviously is not Leupold or Nightforce or even vortex Quality glass, but neither is the price.Weight and buildFor all of you who know Leapers, their gear is built like a tank. it just doesn't stop. This product is no different. it is the same basic frame and tube as all of their other scopes so it will be just as durable. Now, if you are worried about weight, this will not help the cause. This scope is heavy by nature. but then so are all high power heavy duty optics (even the high end ones!!) that being said, my rifle weighs in at just over 10.5 lbs unloaded (bipod, scope, utg rail, and all internals included) so not too bad. If that's too heavy for you, then either hit the weight room or stick with a smaller, lower power scope.Overall it appears to be a great scope and a great upgrade for someone looking for close range and long range capability in one simple package.
