Not for long range or precision accuracy, but works great for casual plinking or airsoft. Light, inexpensive, moderate quality. Exactly what you expect at this price point.

This is a very basic, functional bipod. The all-metal construction is solid, and the included swivel-to-picatinny adapter that's included works well and fastens quite tightly. The bipod itself is quite small, but is more than enough height for my 10/22 to use a 25 round Butler Creek magazine and still have clearance with the bench. If you need an inexpensive, well built, smaller bipod then this is probably the one you want.

This little piece is quite sturdy, the spring loaded legs fold individually and provide a maximum lift of the rear sight of a VZ 58 Sporter, leveled, to 10 inches from the ground with a 7" wide stance. (Mounted on FAB-Defence Poly hand guards.) Each leg is telescopic and spring loaded. They each extend 1/2 inch and can be locked short, long or any place in between, they can be also left unlocked and will "float" a little bit with the terrain. Each leg has a rubber foot which, in theory, would allow over the hood shooting without scratching the hood. The fully extended length is good for me, I am 6' 2".The mount is solid, and the locking screw is large enough to actually put a little torque on it to hold it in place. The actual "jaw" on the mount is 3/4 of an inch wide.It took a week to receive it in my mailbox, and it came with everything as advertized. So far so good. I am shooting a little tomorrow. A good buy for 28 bucks.Dan

I know you get what you pay for but its only human nature that we all want to get more than we paid for and be a happy consumer with no consumers remorse, especially with mail orders sight unseen, and usually i have been pretty happy as far as that goes with Amazon, Im sure this item will be no different, it did arrive very promptly in a new box with all hardware, but of course if there is any needle in a heystack, i will naturally be drawn to it where as your average non highly detail oriented person will own the item forever and never notice unless someone like me points it out to them, such as with my brothers big screen projection tv that he loved until the first time i sat down and watched it and the first thing i noticed was the horizontal orientation was crooked a few degrees, and after i told him, he said he could never watch that tv again without thinking about and noticing the crooked horizontal picture. well whats this got to do with my review, nothing other than as soon as i opened it the first thing i noticed was a few scratches near the top of the legs where they fold, kind of close to the quality inspection sticker that was placed on the item, anyway other than the scratches next to the quality assurance sticker, im sure this will be a fine bi pod, seems sturdy enough to put on any AR type rife, i certainly wouldnt use it with a barret 50 caliber, but it is sturdy and small and compact and perfect for an AR without being too obtrusive, basically its perfect for the money and it does not have those bulky stupid looking springs that the more expensive "automatic" spring activated leg bipods have. so yeah this is exactly what i wanted sans scratches, but ill probably just touch up the scratches with an elmarko permanent marker and youll never notice, plus the hardware that atatches it is strong sturdy and compact so when the legs are folded foward, the unit does not take up hardly more than an inch or two or rail space. barring any unforseen failures in the construction of the unit id say its the perfect unit for the perfect price with a perfect size and function. guess ill go back and give it five stars instead of 4 even with the scratches because i realy like the look and feel of it and it feels as sturdy as a craftsman wrench or something heavy duty like that!
