The cover was 16×32 but other mfg typically have 3 inch plastic edge with no air pockets to pull across the pool. The key though its supposed to be 16 mil thick and hopefully will last longer than 12 mil ones that barely covered 1 season of Calif sun

Too late to return, but was way too thin and did not last one year like all of the other covers we have had. Got ripped off.

No hype, this cover is definitely thicker. And, the others tell you a size, but are always a few inches smaller. This cover is exactly as represented THANK YOU! And a small extra plus, but makes a big difference in evaporation saveings, the others have 3" wide seams running the full length with no bubble flotation. Water always accumulates on thez stripes, thus constant evaporation is wasted. On this cover, there are NO LINEAR SEAMS. (so bubbles cover the entire surface) Better flotation, better insulation! Didn't get paid to say this, it just bugs me what garbage the other brands are, that's ALOT of plastic to have to be throwing away every year when the cheap stuff delaminates. This one is well worth the few extra dollars, I just hope it lasts a couple years?

Pool temp is only decreasing 2 to 4° with the solar cover on all the time except when we are using the pool. Very easy to trim to fit to size works excellent on a roller.

Thus cover is fantastic! The first time we took it off, I put my hand in. It was steaming and hot! We couldn't believe it! We had to get in and stir the water then it was perfect. Our water stays around 93. 91 in the late evening!Also it tells you to cut it down to fit into the pool but we left it original size. This way it keeps bugs to the bare minimum and no leaves. Absolutely worth it!
