I already have a switch like this, even from the same manufacturer. The only difference between them is that this one has USB 3.0 ports while the old one had USB 2.0.There was also the case of a weird cable connection to the actual computers - the old one had USB-B to USB-A cabling, while this one is just simply USB-A to USB-A. I don't think it was causing any particular side effects because of that though.The old switch is still connected at my parents house, where I use it to plug my work laptop. This way I don't have to constantly exchange all the devices like keyboard, mouse, camera and the headset between both computers. It also allows me to use the same screen for both without doing the same with HDMI cables.It has a wired remote with a large rubber button at the end. It works well and looks pretty discreet. At home I have a switch which has a wireless remote, but I really don't mind a wired one for this sort of action.The delay between switching both the screen and the devices is minimal, 2 seconds maybe? Totally acceptable. It works well too - I haven't had a single time where it failed me.One more difference between the sets - I forgot. The old one used a USB-A cable to power up the switch, while the new one has a proper power adapter. I don't think I'll see a difference again because of that, but I feel a bit safer with the new one.The set hasn't got a feature where it automatically detects the active signal and switches to it. You have to press the button in case the set is switched to the other side. I have it in the switch at my home. Saves some time and confusion, but sometimes doesn't work properly.Overall my main reason are of course the USB 3.0 ports. If you plug in any device that could benefit from faster connection, you will notice the difference. In my case it will be the webcam. If I want to use a higher resolution, it will need USB 3.0. There is no price on this product at the time of the review, but I don't think there was a massive difference between them. I like the packaging and the fact you have all the accessories you need to use this switch. Definitely happy to recommend.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Set up as expected, no issues.I received a returned product (it wasn't packaged fully) and was missing the IR Ext, but I don't use the remote, so I don't care :)

Buona qualità costruttiva, mi serviva per collegare più dispositivi alla TV. Nel mio caso ps4 ps5 xbox s i segnali non perdono di qualità e sono ben distinti, l ho abbinato ad un buon cavo di uscita per la TV e ad ora è ottimo

Nach einer Odyssee auf der Suche nach einem funktionierenden und handhabbaren 8K Switch hat dieses Gerät endlich voll abgeliefert! Einfache Installation, keine Bild-Ruckler, eine gut ansprechende Fernbedienung. Toll. Dazu noch eine Verlängerung für eine mögliche manuelle Schaltung. Zu einem Preis bei dem man wirklich nicht meckern kann. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.Zum Vergleich: Der EZCOO HDMI 2.1. 8k Switch hat bei mir in Serie Bildaussetzer produziert und ging sofort zurück. Der dann bestellte Avidgram HDMI 2.1 8K Switch hat zumindest die erwartete Bild- und Tonqualität abgeliefert. Allerdings hat die Fernbedienungsfrequenz des Gerätes auf 2 meiner angeschlossenen Endgeräte (darunter der AppleTV) reagiert, so das ich durch unbeabsichtigte Umschaltaktionen mehr als bloss genervt war. Daher ist meine Freude über den jetzt rezensierten Switch groß.

Es funktioniert tadellos, mit dabei eine Fernbedienung,also man kann am Gerät selbst oder per Fernbedienung umschalten. Qualität und Funktionalität ist top.

Acheté pour mettre un portal tv de Facebook, une bbox et une Nintendo switch. Parfait pour la Nintendo qui ne fonctionne qu'avec du 8k et non un 4k (déjà essayé)Je n'utilise pas la télécommande car le pointeur infrarouge n'est pas bien positionné.

It is handy to glue on the back edge of huge TV. One port on the side others hidden from view.
