I have owned several Waterdrop under sink ro systems so when I saw this table top unit I was very excited. It is not an RO system but rather a high quality filter. The description makes it seem like a KDF type filter but I will investigate once the filter reaches the end of its life.I really like that it retains the taste of my high mineral content city water but absolutely gets rid of the taste of the water treatments and the “pipe” taste from the water at my work.My least favorite aspect is the touch to turn on and off pump. It’s ok to be hands free while filling but I panic slightly when trying to stop the unit since it doesn’t always recognize my dry hands. I end up not filling my water bottle all the way which is a bit annoying.

I wasn't sure if I should've ordered this, but I'm glad I did. Not only does the filter improve water quality, but it also filters water pretty immediately.Previously, I had an old school gravity-based filter (where a filter was placed halfway inside a water pitcher and the water was slowly filtered as it went from the top half of the pitcher to the bottom half). That filter took a while to filter water, which was problematic when thirsty.The Waterdrop's instant filtration means I can pour water into the tank and press a button for immediately filtered water--no waiting! Also, since the Waterdrop holds about one gallon of water, I don't have to refill the Waterdrop as often as I had to refill the previous pitcher.As much as I like the Waterdrop, I did encounter some issues with it. First, the maximum and minimum fill lines are too faint. It's easy to miss them (especially the maximum fill line). That leads to the other issue; overfilling the Waterdrop (such that the waterline reaches the level of the handle) causes leaks down the sides of the Waterdrop at the handle holes. This does suggest that the Waterdrop was not designed to be airtight and leakproof. As such, I would not recommend using it as a portable water filter system.That said, I like the fact that a one-time full charge of the filter has provided me with over a month's supply of filtered water. However, I dislike that the Waterdrop only came with a USB-A to USB-C cable and not an adapter. I had to use my own USB-A adapter to power the Waterdrop. For that inconvenience, I deducted half a point.That said, the blue light on my Waterdrop has not begun to change, indicating that the filter will not need to be changed any time soon. That's fantastic, as the filters are $40 for a pack of 3 on Amazon and I suspect a single filter will last me at least 3 (if not 4) months. That brings the cost per month of a filter down to about $4. That said, because the Waterdrop only uses the proprietary Waterdrop WD-EWFLY Replacement Filter, there is no more economical alternative.Final score: 8.5/10; Would recommend.

This pitcher is great. I actually have a refrigerator that I use for filtered water at home but, I use this at work and it works great for filtered water. I know it's probably lazy but I like that I don't have to pour the water. Actually have had it for about a week now or two and haven't had to charge it yet but I've used it a lot. The water is very tasty actually use the water in the bathroom sink and use this filter and the water comes out surprisingly tasty. So, the filter definitely works well. Overall, I like this water filter, it's perfect for my need

I ordered this Waterdrop Rechargeable Water Filter Dispenser and I quite like it. I needed a clean drinking water dispenser up on the second floor of my house, and this Waterdrop Dispenser is working out really well for that purpose. It's easy to set up and use. It has a large capacity, but it isn't overly heavy when filled, which makes it easy to carry up the stairs. The filtered water also tastes very good!The control on dispenser is easy to operate, and is very quick to respond to a touch. I've experienced no leakage whatsoever.I do wish the MIN/MAX fill lines were easier to see - I have to look VERY close to make sure I've filled the water to the right spot. A different color indicator would make that easier to see. My only other quibble is finding future replacement filters could be somewhat costly. I searched online and I found the replacement filter at a cost of about $20 for 1 filter.Other than those two things I mentioned, I do like the dispenser I lot. It's really nice to have good, clean, drinkable water without having to go down a flight of stairs and across the house!
