Overview
The ESP32-C6-DEV-KIT-N8 is an entry-level RISC-V microcontroller development board integrating WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5 and IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee 3.0 and
Thread). It is compact in size and powerful, with multiple peripheral interfaces. Suitable for smart home, industrial automation, healthcare, consumer
electronics and other applications.
Adopts ESP32-C6-WROOM-1-N8 module, which is equipped with RISC-V 32-bit single-core processor, up to 160MHz main frequency, built-in 8MB Flash;
Integrates rich peripherals including SPI, UART, I2C, I2S, LED PWM, SDIO and other interfaces; Onboard CH343 and CH334 USB HUB chips, supports USB
and UART development at the same time via a USB-C port. Compatible with the pinout of the ESP32-C6-DevKitC-1-N8 development board, more
convenient to use and expand a variety of peripheral modules.
Comes with online examples and tutorials for ESP-IDF development environment, so that you can easily and quickly get started and apply it to the product.

Der kleine ESP32 ist wirklich gut ausgestattet. Neben Bluetooth 5 ist auch schon Wifi 6 mit an Board. Die Bauform bleibt dabei gewohnt kompakt. Wie alle aktuelleren ESP Platinen ist auch hier ein USB-C Port verbaut.Über den USB-C Anschluss ist der ESP auch entsprechend schnell geflasht. Beachten muss man eigentlich nur, dass das Board via Knopfdruck in den Boot-Modus gebraucht werden muss. Dieser ist auch deutlich gekennzeichnet. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite ist auch ein Button und das Gerät zu resetten, so muss man nicht ständig das USB-C Kabel herausziehen.Ich konnte meine gewünschte Firmware problemlos auf den ESP32 flashen. Allerdings musste ich noch aktuelle Treiber für Windows 11 herunterladen. Diese liegen in der Regel entsprechenden Tools bei oder sind auf der Herstellerseite verlinkt.Bisher läuft das ESP32 Board stabil, somit habe ich nichts zu meckern.

This ESP32-C6 is a neat little board and comes with headers for your soldering pleasure.The C6 is a neat package with 2.4Ghz Wifi6, Zigbee, and BT5 on it. A lot of pre-made popular packages however dont support it yet, but if you can code it yourself its a good dev board.The quality seems pretty good and at the time of writing the price is very fair for one of these.

Leider ist der C6 noch nicht zu 100% supported und man muss manchmal bisschen tricksen (z.b. in der Arduino IDE).Zudem möchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass der C6 NICHT der Nachfolger des C5 ist.Der C5 ist scheinbar noch nicht richtig draußen, obwohl schon vor einer Weile (mit 5GHz WiFi) announced wurde.Dieser hier hat kein 5 GHz!, heißt scheinbar C6, weil er WiFi 6 mit 2,4 GHz kann.Ich werde ihn dennoch behalten, weil er gut verarbeitet ist und hoffentlich in der Zukunft auch vollständiger Support in Arduino IDE und CO. existiert.

The new C6 brings support for many new radios, which is the main reason I wanted to tinker with this.The new software compatibility makes development a lot more fun, too.This version of the board is very well made, great value and just a pleasure to tinker with.Absolutely recommend.

L’ho acquistato per piccoli lavori fai da te con la domotica, il prodotto è valido. Tuttavia è ancora prematuro pensare di usarlo in modo stabile con i vari software dedicati come tasmota.

Mit den neuen ESP32-C6 macht das Entwickeln deutlich mehr Spaß, da diese einen eingebauten JTAG-Debugger haben.
