Light, soft and pretty. Will match any tack setEdit... love these so much also bought them in tan. Will match perfectly with the rawhide bridle I ordered.

Decent quality rein for the price, they are a tad darker in person than they look in the photo though. I expected they would be a lighter cream colour but they have a lot more of the beige in them and it gives them a darker tint. Still good reins though , I had this same problem with a weaver rope halter that looked cream and arrived looking more of a darker beige than expected. Reins even look lighter in my own photo than in person. Other than colour being different than photos they’re great.

These look like they might be scratchy but they are not. They are nice and flexible but substantial. Only thing is I wish the water loops were larger/longer as they tend to be tight on my loose ring snaffle and don't (flow?) on the bit

I ride a (beautiful) Haflinger who is a large pony with a short neck and a huge mane. I need short reins for him and I like them to be comfortable in my hands and fairly grippy. I prefer to use roper style reins on the trail because if my hands get tangled in his mane which does happen, I don't have to worry about dropping a rein. Also, roper reins are generally the perfect length to rest on his neck as we bop along on a loose rein and I don't have to deal with the excess rein that comes with longer split reins. I had an old pair of Weaver cotton braided roper-style reins that I loved but they wore out eventually. I replaced them with new Weaver roper reins that were very attractive color-wise but they were only 5/8" wide and were pretty slippery. I used them for a few months and then went on the search for a better replacement. Weaver again was the only manufacturer that I liked so I took a chance on these after studying the photos and description carefully. Bingo, I got exactly what I needed. These reins are thicker without being too thick for my small hands, soft and yet with a good grippiness. They are the perfect length for my needs. A big bonus is how attractive they are. The color scheme matches my pony perfectly, which is of course very important to the discerning trail rider. :)
