Ordered this as well as the 2.5mm for a palpation and osculation simulator I've been contracted to build called the ACDET AbSim. We have many fasteners that go into stainless steel brackets or the stainless steel box that support the simulator. These bits being stainless themselves helps to prevent rust from forming in the future from using dissimilar metals. The drive system really does an excellent job of preventing wear from heavy use, and there's been no stripping the tool bit or fasteners so far. I've been using them for 2 and a half months working on about 15 different sims, and i couldn't be happier with the quality of these Wera hex drive bits.

Great as a rust proof tool for electronics, bicycles, photographic, these bits come individually or in a set. Add Wera's miniature driver Model 8001 for best use or buy the complete set that contains all but the really small bits: Wera BC Stainless 30 Bit-Check Set

The picture looks strange to me but this is a 2mm hex bit that fits directly into any 1/4-inch drive like my electric screwdriver.I use it to work on my RC car and it works great. It's strong and when matched up with SS screws you won't get any stripping or loose connections. It is a bit pricey for what it is but most RC cars only need a few size 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5 for instance to get all the work done.The only issue I noticed is that it has a tendency to bind to the hex screws. In other words it can be a bit difficult to get it out of the screw. I wiggle it back and forth and it pops out when this happens.Maybe it's worth 4 instead of 5 stars due to the price but I didn't really shop other SS bits and I'm completely satisfied so 5 stars will do.
