So as a finished product I can only give this item 2 stars. However the idea of it is definitely worth 5 stars. It's a great starting point but I definitely had to do some modifications to make it work great. One thing I'll strongly suggest is putting a screw through the body of it with a wing nut so it can be tightened down. Otherwise when you try to slide the blade across it it tends to flex and hit the belt and the belt would draw it in and it will screw your angle up. The next thing is to put some kind of fabric or jewelry box felt on the table itself or it will scratch up blades that are polished or have any kind of finish. Just doing those 2 simple things made it a great investment.

The product does not work. The design allows riser to slide forward into belt pulley on sharpener. This will harm your sharpener and belts. Wasted money!

would not fix the base was to wide, returned for a refund. Would have work great if it had fitted.

Fits well (did need a little tape inside fit, now tight). Works perfectly. Hard to believe work sharp did not include a riser.
