Über uns
Die Reise von XLC beginnt im Jahr 2003 mit der Idee der ACCELL GROUP N.V., eine eigene Marke für Fahrradkomponenten zu vermarkten: XLC, x-cellent bike components. Zunächst wird XLC als Erstausstattung für Fahrräder bekannter ACCELL Marken verbaut. Vorrangig werden dabei Lenker, Vorbauten und Sattelstützen eingesetzt. Ab 2005 wird die Marke XLC zunächst über die Winora-Group – eine Tochtergesellschaft der ACCELL GROUP – an Fahrradfachhändler in Deutschland und Österreich vertrieben. Schnell werden aber auch andere europäische Länder wie Frankreich, Spanien, Holland und Italien ins Vertriebsgebiet aufgenommen. Heute ist XLC eine international agierende Marke und in mehr als 40 Ländern über den ausgewählten Fahrradfachhandel erhältlich. Das Portfolio der Marke XLC umfasst Fahrradteile, -zubehör und -bekleidung – angepasst an die Bedürfnisse der Fahrrad-Community weltweit.
XLC Unisex – Erwachsene Bremshebel
Mit einem gummierten Hebel für ideale Griffigkeit und Kontrolle sowie einer langen Hebellänge von vier Fingern wird das XLC BL-V05 Bremshebel-Set bei ihnen mit Sicherheit mehr Vertrauen in ihre Bremsen wecken und ihre Fahrt verbessern. Die V05-Bremshebel lassen sich sowohl mit Daumenschaltungen als auch mit Drehgriff-Schaltmechanismen kombinieren und eignen sich daher für eine Vielzahl von Fahrrädern und Fahrertypen. Die fachmännisch gefertigten Aluminiumhebel lassen sich sowohl mit mechanischen Scheibenbremsen als auch mit V-Bremsen kombinieren, von denen XLC eine beeindruckende Auswahl anbietet, so dass Sie mit Sicherheit deine ideale Bremskombination finden. Die Bremshebel tun, was sie sollen. Machen einen guten Eindruck und passen. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Preis Leistung ist okay, fühlt sich allerdings alles nicht besonders wertig und stabil an! Aber dafür muss man eben auch mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen! Erfüllt auf jeden Fall seinen Zweck!

Einer der Bremshebel war schon beim Auspacken verkratzt, das liegt wohl an der hauchdünnen Lackschicht die aufgetragen ist. Die Verarbeitung ist auch so lala, die Gummis haben einen deutlichen Spalt zu den Hebeln und man sieht die Klebestellen.Wer keine hohen Anprüche hat, ist hier gut beraten, denn sie tun was sie sollen - gut bremsen.

I installed this pair of brake levers to replace the old Mongoose brake leversI had to take off the handlebar grips spraying some isopropyl alcohol inside of themI had to wrap just a fine layer of electrical tape inside the metal rim to provide extra grip in the handlebarEasy to install, if you know how the brake levers workThe size fits very well a commuter bike. I love the rubber grip included in the levers, the breaking feels smoothlyI recommend this product

I bought these because I suspected that the original levers on my 20-year-old Trek were worn out. I had already replaced the brakes, pads and cables, (everything really, except for the frame, front derailleur, seat post and stem) but I just wasn't getting enough leverage, no matter how much I fiddled with the system. These were inexpensive, the levers are alloy not plastic, and as long (if not a little longer) than the old ones.Once I got the grips off, it only took minutes to get these installed and adjusted. They have great action, aren't all that heavy, are very adjustable, and have a great "feel". I've been able to hold my bike on an incline for the first time in years. They seem pretty durable too, but I haven't really put them through the wringer yet.I'm beginning to think that I should have replaced the levers before the brakes themselves. The difference is really that great. I suppose that no matter how high-end the original components are, after 20 years they're probably worn out.If you like the long levers, these are an inexpensive, well built and good replacement part. I'll probably buy another set this summer to replace the all-plastic levers on my son's store bike.

Excellent brake levers for the price. The textured rubberized grips on the front of the levers is a neat touch.The way they were attached to the packaging caused one of the screws from one handle to rub and slightly scratch the black clamp on the other handle. Otherwise product would have gotten five stars. The shipper also put the item in a box that was slightly smaller than the packaging which contributed to the scratching.Otherwise a solid product.

Ordentlich verarbeitet. Angenehm breite Griffe - auch dank der Gummierung. Kaufempfehlung für alle, die keine besonderen Ansprüche haben, aber auch keine billigen Baumarktgriffe wollen. Für den Otto-Normal-Nutzer mit seinem Citybike mehr als ausreichend.
