Ordered as a replacement for my usual NSF/ANSI 50 certified PoolPure brand. Sounded like a decent product, the pictures in the ad showed a nice printed label stating that the material is 'Dacron' and various other claims, but no certifications stated. What I recieved (see photo) was just had a cheap printed barcode and some ink printed recycling logo and text on the cellophane, indicating it had passed through the EU at some point. No provenance and no indication of it's materials or quality. It does it's job and filters my hot tub water, but there are cheaper and more professional looking alternatives out there.

I have found since using this filter in my Hot Tub, the water has become noticeable clearer, the filter picks up on even the smallest objects coming through the filtration system and into the Hot Tub, and improved my water quality. It's also easy to clear the bigger object form the filter and allow this filter to be used for a longer time frame.

I usually use PR50-IN with my South Seas 735 SE hot tub, but thought I would give PRB25-IN a try - its the exact same size.The main difference between the 50 and 25 is the amount of filter material, the 50 literally has double the amount of filter material compared to the 25.I do find the 50s are quite difficult to clean, whereas the reduced number of pleats with the 25 makes them much easier to clean and the jets are a little more powerful with this installed.Whilst the 25 doesn't have as much filtering capacity, it does still do an incredibly good job at filtering my hot tub water and removing larger deposits.The overall quality of the item is very good and I suspect this will last 12 to 18 months as long as you clean it with the proper cleaning materials on a regular basis.
