Pessimi.

Since lockdown I started working out a lot at home, regularly using slam balls in the garage. Throwing heavy slam balls directly onto concrete made quite a bit of noise which isn’t ideal when you’ve got neighbours and an annoyed Mrs. Granted these are primarily for dropping barbells,/logs onto but I needed them mainly for this and they haven’t disappointed. A lot cheaper than a lot of the mainstream brands and have so far done the trick!

I use these for deadlifting with weights that exceed 500 lbs. Haven't had them very long but the pads are holding up so far. Almost entirely eliminates the noise, no more shaking the whole house. They work amazingly for this purpose. The pads will depress as the weight gets higher. With 400+ lbs they depress about 1.5". I built a 4.5" platform to stand on and that puts the bottom of the plates about where my feet are on heavier pulls.Very much recommend. Haven't tried other brands but these were the cheapest and apparently you'll have to swap em out after 6-12 months anyway, so no reason to break the bank.

Purchased these because the neighbors called the cops on me at 2 in the morning. Apparently they were jealous of my heavy deadlifts so they made a noise complaint. Multiple times. Searched around and came across these bad boys. I noticed there were also bigger brands that cost a lot more. The foam inside between ones that cost more and these are pretty much identical. Very stiff foam. So what's the difference? Heavy but not too heavy to carry. Came with two drop pads, each weighing a little more than 20 pounds each. Handle seems sturdy although I don't plan carrying these everyday so I cannot give a review on how the handle will hold up over time. I read from another review that the zipper side is suppose to go down. I'm not sure why but I suspect if the zipper side was facing up and heavy weights were to drop, that would put stress on the zippers being (forced down from the weight) possibly causing them to split and rip off the pad. These pads are seem great to use if you are doing any exercises that require you to sit on the ground or be on your knees. They are stiff and will keep you up but not too stiff. I'll keep using these and if anything goes bad I will update.
