The pieces won't fit together, even with a hammer. We had a carpenter try and he told us it's just badly made.

Having spent upwards of two days assembling, filling and painting the unit we were excited to finally add the children’s books. Unfortunately the unit shelves aren’t a suitable size for most of the larger picture books. They stick out and whilst rotating bang against any nearby furniture or walls. Hence the unit needs a lot of space around it which rather defeats the object of purchasing it for space saving.Rotation needs to be very slow, not something children are inclined to do but they enjoyed spinning it fast and watching the books fly off.

Firstly it arrived in an open box. At first I didn’t realise it was broken but when I started to assemble it I noticed that the parts did not fit where they were supposed to and I assume someone tried to force them and broke it trying. Do not recommend.

The product as such is nice, however the fittings are to tight and the wood too soft. Breakage during assembly only allowed for one tier. Okay but not satisfied with the quality.

This item was selling for £79.99 when I requested it. At the time of writing, it’s unavailable. The bookcase caught my eye because I really like the design. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much where the positive comments end and ifI had paid for this item, I would be returning it.The quality of the item is poor and as I watched my daughter constructing it for me, I was dismayed at the number of pieces that broke/split as soon as she tried to place them. The instructions go way beyond the usual mildly amusing Chinese English and suggest that the manufacturer is well aware of the quality issues.The shelves are built and I still really like the design but there’s no way that I would pay £79.99 for them. The bare wood just makes them look unfinished and I’m going to attempt to Unicorn Spit them in an effort to make the wood more attractive.Sadly, this item is overpriced, poor quality, frustrating to build and leaves me wondering how well it’ll cope once I put books on it. Definitely not recommended.
