You receive two little (2.6” tall) columns. They are either Greek or Roman, the description isn’t specific on that and I haven’t done the proper research yet. But if my high school education is still accurate in my brain, I think these would be classified as miniature Corinthian with their flowery decorated tops and scalloped sides. Either way, they are finely detailed with angels and olive branches decorating each side at the top. The sides are intricately scalloped and there is some mottling to indicate some aging.The top area is approximately 1.4” wide which gives you plenty of (tiny) space to show off miniature trinkets or other decorations.As the product description details, these are handy little props for photographers to use in close up and miniature displays. But they can also be used by hobbyists for adding smart accents to dioramas or school projects. Any person with interests in crafting or decorating can find multiples uses for these accurately carved little columns.Made of strong resin, the columns are identical to each other but one appears to be a bit “whiter” than the other. I would say that one is white and the other is more ivory shaded. I think you can see that difference in the attached photos.The columns are stable and stand without any suggestion of toppling or wobbling. They are very affordably priced and, at the time of this review, Amazon is offering an optional 15% discount coupon which makes these attractive little columns even more attractive.
