Bottom line, this thing works great! The cable is long but not so long that you end up having a bunch of slack. Color is helpful when using your rig in low-light situations. So far I've used it with 4 different brands of batteries and they've all worked fine.

What is there to say about this? It works!It's a small plastic dummy battery, which is light in weight and in colour (you're not going to lose it anywhere!) which is connected via an equally bright, great quality cable - all the way to a d-tap plug, which is surprisingly, on a 180 degree swivel!This means it'll lay beautifully flat against an external battery, and work exactly as intended!

I ordered this for my ZV-E10 rig as that sees heavy use for talking head and interview type scenarios which tend to be energy vampires, paired with a SMALLRIGG VB99 I have zero concerns about running out of power or of the camera overheating.Of course I already had a dummy battery but I couldn't resist this being orange, first off it's my favorite color and secondly, when you have have a dozen cables attached to your camera rig it makes it much easier to identify which is which.Recommended!
