Been wanting to build a model of a Sherman tank in WWII Soviet markings and this kit from Zvezda fit the bill nicely. It is an M4A2/75mm gun in 1:35 scale - same style of Sherman that was exported to the British, Soviets, and used by the USMC in the Pacific.As for the kit:molding is crisp, and fit is quite goodchoice of different style of drive sprocketschoice of different type commander's cupola/hatcheschoice of 2-types of road wheels (mid-war pressed style or late war solid style)An ANTENNAclear plastic for any lens and headlightsdecals for 2 Soviet M4A2 Shermans and 2 USMC M4A2 Shermanssolid box that fits inside a flimsier outer protective boxeasy to put together link-n-length track (there are long lengths for top/bottom and individual pieces to go around the drive sprocket and idler wheel)Building the kit, I had no problems. Everything seemed to go together quite well but do suggest dry fitting parts. Since I was building the Soviet Lend-Lease version used the parts that would have been on the vehicle then. The track shoes are of the BAR-style, and they went together surprisingly well. Decals went onto kit without any problems.A few things that did not like about the kit: though the turret has those "locking" tabs in order to keep the turret onto the body of the vehicle, they really DO NOT work. Had to position turret how I wanted it then glue into place, otherwise the turret would keep falling off. Also, not much "cast" detail on the surfaces of the vehicle as well for it would be quite apparent on the real thing. The "cast" appearance was easily remedied.Overall, this was a great kit to build from Zvezda. I plan on purchasing another kit just to build a USMC version. Ordered kit via Amazon and arrived well in advance of the promised due date. Package arrived without any problems.
