The description says that it'll stop pets running into doors but actually what these have done is caused my cats to become feral! They're slightly shiny on the outside bits and so sitting in a doorway, kind of looking like giant spider legs sticking out on some of them, the cats have decided they absolutely cannot be left alone to live. They now live on some blinds in a room they can't go in, which is pretty, but definitely not cat friendly if you like your screen door claw free.

Thanks to the “grand doggies”, our screened in sun porch has a number of spots where the fibreglass screening is punctured and in disrepair. Knowing that, come summer, the sun room will be bursting with plants, we thought that this might be a visually interesting way to remedy the puncture situation without having to actually replace any screening.I must admit that I was somewhat skeptical about the twin magnets ability to maintain a bond in adverse conditions with a piece of screening between them. While individually, the magnets seem a bit frail, when attached to their mate, they possess a nice sturdiness and a surprisingly strong magnetic bond. Indeed, aligning them together on a screen can be challenging as they will often adhere to each other before they are perfectly in place. Each of the six pairs of magnets are quite large (the average seems to be about 4” in diameter) with each featuring a different species of plant. The graphics are nicely detailed and the overall look is very realistic. They are certainly nice enough looking to be used indoors as fridge or filing cabinet magnets. It should be noted that these are relatively large magnets and, as such, will be very noticeable when placed on screening. For us, with snow piled up high in the yard, this is further emphasized (although we really don’t find it a problem). We have experimented with the magnets on both fibreglass screening and old fashioned wire screening; the leaf pairings have remained firmly in place and have not been impacted by the weather. Looking ahead, I am interested to see if the magnets maintain their good looks when encountering lots of sun or whether their nice green colours fade or bleach. My only complaint with these magnets is the fact that, after being somewhat bent in their packing case, the floral graphic on three of the sets had separated from the magnet they were glued to. I am concerned that this separation might continue over the long term ruining the nice floral effect. These leafy magnets offer an easy solution to the problem of ripped, torn, or otherwise damaged screening. No advance preparation is required nor are any glues or adhesives used; even if they only last a few years, the simplicity they offer is more than worth what they cost. At their current price of $14 CAD, they are both cost effective and aesthetically pleasing.

These are ideal for the little holes in my door screen that’s developed over time due to using Velcro tie backs. These leaves being the size they are covered the entirety of the holes and then some which means with the other matching leaf on the other side they hold perfectly making a excellent seal. The magnetic hold on each leaf is strong enough to hold onto each other without either of them slipping but not overly strong that it interferes with the other magnets within the door curtains that hold them together in the centre. Not that they’re made for this but they’re also good to use on the fridge as the magnets hold which gives a pleasant look to the fridge and it’s a way to store them so I know where they are when I need them instead of putting the ones I’m not using away and forget where I put them in the months to come. At the time of ordering the cost was £6.99 which is value for money in my personal opinion.

These handy magnets are perfect for temporary or permanent repairs to a screen tear or simply to add a fun visual embellishment to a screen. There are a variety of mirror image leaf themed strong magnets that stay put even in wind or opening or closing the screen door. Additionally they could be placed at eye level on large sliding screen doors to keep people from inadvertently walking into the screen. They are also attractive enough to use as refrigerator magnets if that’s your thing.Well made and attractive!

These are light weight and do stay on my screens. They are large enough to provide a way to be sure if the window/door screen is open or closed. The magnet, so far, have held up and do a pretty good job. These are ornamental, but have dimension to them. They served the purpose intended for them, so I believe they are reasonable.
